I have to fill/adjust every few months. But with one tire being lower than the others, I probably have a nail in it.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 12:53 pmBrahoe tires have a perfect bead. They have not lost air.....not single pound, in over a year. Runflats on the 440i I fill/adjust every two weeks or one of those fkers with set off the TPMS warning. They practically have a hole in them.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 7:53 am So one odd thing about this car. It's very sensitive to tire pressures. It threw a TPMS warning light yesterday so I broke out ye olde air compressor and pumped them back up to factory recs, 33 PSI front 32 PSI rear. They were down to like 30 all around, with the right rear at 28-27 ish. Wouldn't be surprised if there was a nail in it but I couldn't see anything.
Ride in today was less jittery and smoother traction coming out of turns. It had been bucking a tad around really sharp right handers which I thought was just some loss of traction on crosswalk stripes but appears it was the center diff locking/unlocking?
Eh, it's all back to normal operation now. I like how this car does that sort of stuff though, it's very talkative.

1. It gets colder which makes sense as air pressures drop with temperature
2. Some kind of nail or other garbage

These BMW tires are the worst I've ever had for that sort of thing. They ALL lose air, fairly uniformly.max225 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 1:23 pmThe only time this happens to me is whenDesertbreh wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 12:53 pm

troyguitar wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 11:17 amYep, adding the 8" sub to the Vibe helped a lot. I don't know about the STI system in particular, but you really don't need much of an amplifier to get decent sound at reasonable volume levels for the non-sub frequencies. 10 watts per side can be loud enough to hurt.Detroit wrote: Kicker audio makes upgrade packages that plug into the factory harness and adds a subwoofer and diverts all low end from the speakers to the sub. The result is fantastic. Not earth shattering as you said, but the sound is incredible. Not forcing the small speakers to play lows is a major improvement in sound.
Add a crossover (you like those, right?) and a small amp+sub and take 3 minutes to EQ the whole system, that should get you 90% of the way.

My OEM ContiProContacts were like that. I added air every couple of weeks or less. My DWS's have been almost perfect, having needed air maybe 3 times in 4 years.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 1:26 pmThese BMW tires are the worst I've ever had for that sort of thing. Id say bigger tires and maybe along with bigger will work out about a few inches, but that said, bigger tires are pricy as hell. So really no diff in pricingSAWCE wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 12:02 pmDang.. now I want to do that with the Jeep...Detroit wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 11:09 am

lol. For $1250, I'll get the Mopar/Fox 2.5" lift kit or whatever, and then when I need new tires in a year or two maybe go up to 35". Don't see myself ever putting 18" wheels on.razr390 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 6:13 pmYou are replying with wheel information to a post that is in regard to audio/stereo.MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 6:04 pm

But the handbrake works, as rudy confirms
