nothing known.

my mech with lift ended up having a wedding and was tired on sunday. Hopefully this weekend. Trans is loaded in bed of :truk: and its parked at ray ray's shed.

I have a fresh 6l80 in my actual possession after much shipping/buying fuckery. LKQ has a nice charge back via chase after their inability (9 business days AFTER THEY PICKED UP THE 5.4 engine they shipped...) to issue me a refund for their inability to deliver the thing that I bought from them.

Its been a real long process just to get the right thing.

Dealing with a back and forth where they don't act on shit is stupid frustrating.
That's why I try to make bigger purchases for things on my credit card, to get that credit card threat backing. They don't like fuckery.
Even people that are all "USE PAYPAL AND SEND AS FRIEND/FAMILY". LOL Fuck that, I do it like regular and maybe add a few bucks to cover the cost for the crybaby on the other end of the sale.

Just saw this.

The car is a great little car for $10k and less. Quirky for sure. Handles not bad for the height factor. The build quality is cheap. It's odd to wrench on. The back seat is actually functional and better than the mustang. The electronics comforts and stereo were greatly lacking comparing the VWs of the time. The boost gauge was fakenews

One off wheels specs and weird offsets. :flaccid:
I had bad experience with aftermarket shit. The car wasn't well supported despite the illusion it is.

It needs a slight oversized proper sport tire to be great.

I'd still have it if I didn't need to dissapear my old truck. And I do keep track of the used market all though my wife thinks it's stupid.

Trukdate.

Got all fluids leveled. I expected the trans to suck up more in cooling system than it did so I removed the overfill to proper specs. Got some speakers in to replace the blown ones. The door panels was a real pita.

New used bumper for $125 was sourced. Has to drive 3 hours to AL. Stopped to visit and wrench on rabbit. Truk us doing daily dooty well now. Dog likes riding in it. Tons or rear room.

Rabbit fired off. Will be ready to run once fuel leaks at Injecrors get fixed. I ordered a spacer to make injectors taller and was shipped the wrong thing. That was the only hold up. My 3d printed bushing worked flawlessly at the retrofitted TB. My throttle cable is too long and I'll need to find a slightly shorter one.

What car did that 16V engine in the Rabbit come out of?

unsure honestly. it was one of the 3 engines I got with the car. the 1.8 actually was out of fax's old old cabby. I guess it was a junk yard pull. the bottom is a 2.0 and I think the current head is a 2.0. That throttle body is off a 16v passat with auto trans which has a TPS for efi. The manifold is a 50mm euro one.

Wait till you see the motor Im building. bored over to 2.1L aba long stroke block with all the forged bits and high comp pistons. and a 1.8 ported 16v head with autotech cams and HD springs.
