They are better then the continental Contisport 5Ps that VW put on the and pretty cheap. The treads are downright y for a sport tire, so I'm anticipating decent tread life, great in rain, super quiet... I'd again.

They don’t come in my 15” size for the steelies, but these will stay on my radar for if I bump up to some OEM 16”ers.
205 55r16 for $108/ea at my local American Tire.

I'd personally on (windshield included considering your skin issues) and / tires. It's nice to be able to stop when you need to. Rear ending someone again might be avoided, along with an even worse insurance rate!

Tint will happen the next time I go up to see my parents. Dad has a dude up there that gives us good deals. I’ll splurge on the ceramic stuff for extra heat rejection. Going to get it detailed while I’m up there too. There’s some.. residue.. inside from the PO along with some clean up needed on the exterior, plus it’ll be nice to have it looking brand new so I feel like it’s an actual new car

, get that shizz done man. Spa day for the new whip! I enjoyed my vintage Nissan Sentra as much as any other car that I owned, if it had any :ballz: at all it would be a riot. Don't care what those other dudes say, a car has zero bearing on how much is at stake, the bro I know that gets laid more then anyone else I've met went from a 1998 Civic (silver, no options) to a 2012 Chevy Cruz (black, a fucking joke).

All the take off wheels seem to be 16”, which is still relatively small, so not too worried about the increase in size.. If I go that route I’d put some 205 55 or 60 summer tires on it for some grip and fun.
If I stick with the stock steelies then I’ll go Max’s suggested route and just put a high treadwear all-season and just

The Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 comes in 205/55/16. After having driven on the AS3+ for the last 3 years, there isn’t another all season tire I’d consider.

First official mileage logged at 26.4mpg over 100 miles. Expecting to see that improve as I learn this clutch a bit better and stop over revving when taking off from a stop. Damn engine is so quiet I can’t hear it rev
That is surprisingly poor, are you mostly in stop and go? I calculated 39 MPG at the pump driving one of these all over LA and OC on a work trip and IIRC 37 on a similar trip in Phoenix. Maybe the auto is more efficient

I thought the same thing. Our Sonata - bigger car, bigger engine, auto, easily gets high 20's-low 30's around on suburban streets and mid 30's on the highway.

But yes, I’m mostly stop and go. My commute to work is ~6.5 miles, only 3 of which are on the freeway. The rest of my driving is surface streets around town going to/from the gym, grocery shopping, etc.

California driving is a bit different than most states. Which is why I am getting 26 in a mini also. We go much faster on freeways and our cities have long lights/traffic etc.

Second logged fill-up. 28.7mpg over 180 miles. Definitely learning the clutch and throttle a bit better. I have a drive up to see my parents coming up in 2 weeks, so I’ll report back again after that and see how it does on the freeway for a long-ish (~180miles each way) trip.
