Interesting video:
Check out the Soviet Buran. Another stolen idea they couldn't execute on.

You can, and you're wrong.

This is DFD, that's how it works.

This one might stump some of you.

Anyone know the airline?

This one is probably my favorite one. Not in terms of design per se, but what you get inside.

A very small French airline called La Compagnie. They fly New York (newark) to Paris. They used to fly to London (Luton) as well but cancelled that route.

They fly a Boeing 757, all business class seats.

My bad, I forgot to post the inside.

Bvlgari everything inside, from lotions to a really nice sized cologne bottle.

They stocked this up full. Threw in deodorant shave gel hair comb an actual real toothbrush.

Sitting on a a330-300, in the old US Air Setup. They took deliveries of these about three months before the American deal was announced. This plane will be sold off by mid 2018.

That's my normal experience as well. These :waxer: ones are only a couple times a year. Which, considering I've done 70 flights so far this year isn't that often.

Wow. So this was a shockingly nice ride. I actually got about four hours of sleep which is fantastic for me. The air pressure absolutely sucked but the seats were fantastic. My favorite business class seat I've ever had, by far.

I rarely fly.

I just like watching them take off and stuff.

In continuation of the 747 love, here is Lufthansa's 747-8. I get great spotting views in newark.

I know on paper the 747-8 is 3 feet longer than the A340-600. But I'm still blown away every time I see that 340. It looks longer than the 747.

I just flew home on a 340-600 on Saturday. VERY nice plane. I've flown 340s before, but not the 600. It had something I'd never seen before. All the bathrooms (for coach anyway) were down a flight of stairs, so there were no bathrooms on the passenger deck.

I grew up on O'Hare flight paths. It was a yuuge deal when the then-new 747's flew overhead. It was :amazing: to see such a big plane fly by.
