Saw my first A350 recently.

Looking around some fleet sites, believe its the first one to service Newark.

Those wing tips though. wow.

I am a yuge Boeing fanboy to be clear. I think the 788 is one of the finest planes ever made. That said, I would love to get on the 350 soon.

Most under rated planes from a passenger perspective is the CRJ900. Tiny plane with big seats.

That said Airbus had likely fucked itself with the c-series deal

At FLL we see the Norwegian 787 take off every night. It’s :amazing:

I seek them out for my international travel when I can. That higher humidity and air pressure do wonders for comfort.

Saw one in Munich about 3 years ago. They're :mindblown: big in person. O'Hare is supposed to be able to handle them soon. Looking forward to seeing one fly over my house. I'm on a flight path.

Agreed. I flew one once a couple years ago from Warsaw to Chicago. Was really comfortable.

Flying a triple 7 to Germany this weekend. That's still not a bad plane, imo.

The big ones are the 380s. 350 is about the size of the 777.

787-8 (788) is the small one
787-9 (789) is the stretched one.

No not at all. For it's age it's still a great plane.

I'll be on a a330-300 in a couple weeks which I don't love.

So, I'm not familiar with the 350. Twin engine? Replacing the 340?

Known by NATO Forces as The Bear. So when you hear in a movie a fighter pilot say "locked and loaded for Bear" that's what they are referring to.

Assuming you mean not performing in the marketplace.
I think history will show that Boing made the better business decision when they went with medium capacity planes to reach more hubs vs Airbus' model of giganto-planes to go between fewer, large hubs.
