Ended up getting the wife this for a hunnit. It is in really nice shape and seems like a solid intro to bike ownershit... She is kind of picky and wanted certain things - cushy seat, upright seating position, etc. She really likes the look of this and the removable basket (doesn't feel comfortable riding with a backpack). I think I'm going to do it. Why the hell not. I'm of all the 12 year olds than can hold wheelies for multiple blocks at a time on their Big Rippers and SoCal Flyers.
Looks like the rear triangle is cracked on the Occam. They need me to send in the frame for inspection first, and I am likely without a bike for 3-6 months depending on timing with the Coronavirus outbreak.
I think I need to start bike shopping. Debating a park focused bike, or going with a 29er to compliment this whenever it gets back.

I have the wants for something like that right now... great for the sidewalks and shittyness of my commute. We'll see how poor I end up in a few months, I may switch the Raleigh out for something like that.

Park focused as in lift service bike park bike. The local ski resorts switch to bike parks for that continued income stream.

Since there’s no snow anymore they should be called bike resorts that do ski stuff occasionally.
