It’s a bitch but it works really well.

Nice.
deload week for me, so nothing interesting to report.
I did Score some nice af Pendlay bumper plates off the facemarket. Will go pick up this week sometime. 230 for 140 lbs, 2 45's and 2 25's. Combined with my cheap Titan shitness plates I have 10's 15's 25's and 45's.

Cycle 7 week one day one went well. Day two...not so much. missed both rep goals but did bang out my fahves. Recovery and rest was shit due to all the HOA stress. Hopefully i can make it up on next weeks sets.
Still, pressing 125 for 5 is daym impressive considering I could barely grind out 1 7 months ago.

week 2 on 531, squats felt heavy and shitty today. Did some volume work after. Realized after i fucked up my plate math and 'overloaded' the bar by 10bs. not a huge deal, but explains it partially. 345 for 5 and a real shitty 6th

Slightly different angles and lighting since I’ve moved apartments between these pics, but I tried to at least size them up close to the same.
226.6 last year at my heaviest on the left, and 226.4 this morning on the right. Belly is smaller and are rounder now. Thinking I should be able to get up to 240ish before I start to look as soft as I did at last year’s 226. Haven’t talked to my coach about scale weight too much, but I’d love to see 240 this year, then do a mini cut, and then try to push up to 250 next year before cutting for a show at the end of next year or early 2021. Start my cut 30lbs heavier than last year hoping to end up 30lbs heavier on stage as lean or leaner than I was last year for the show.

Costco ftw! The legs on these have started rolling up under my jeans though and my inner thighs have been getting chaffed.
I like the Calvin’s, but they’re pricey. Nordstrom has them on sale right now, but even with the discount they’re like $12/pair or something. Wish my friend still worked for them so I could use her discount on top of the sale price again.

140 for 4 on the Press and 360 for 3 with a 4th after a rest on deadlift. I also closed out the workout with 3 more reps of press at 135, and some assisted pullups.

Decided to go heavy on squats today. Hit 405 for a double. Feeling good about that. Got it as a 1rm last July, and failed under it a few times in May. I’ll probably do a heavy squat like that once a month going forward.
I can't wait for my knee to allow me to go that heavy again.
The panda hath arrived.
