OT 21: DFD Giveth and DFD Taketh Away

That said I also think I’d tell my kid, wear whatever you want, do your hair however, call yourself whatever, none of these things are harmful. I’m also not a parent so :wtf: do I know? This is my plan, but as you said, also not a parent (yet). I could see not acknowledging their requests for somet...

Wow this thing is getting passed around like a cheap hooker.
At this point it’s just funny.

It brings you back due to epic bang for buck but then you get it and a few things are so :disappoint: that you bail.

Id kinda echo that, seems like a gem at 6k 72k miles but dont expect it to be 100% problem free forever and $$ to fix. But they are HELLA fun little cars. If you are prepared to spin a wrench every now and again or budget 2-3k a year in repairs and make it someone else's problem I think its fine. Y...

I bet it is. RE: bold, agreed. But adult age is adult age and 18-21 is the fuzzy line in the sand (and IMHO it should be one or the other) and at that point people should be free to start hackin' should they choose. Yep. At 18 hey if you want to do it, then by all means, go for it.. but I'm still g...

I would 392 Wrangler or V8 Fendie if I was that rich and wanted a stupid off road :fancy: thing. Maybe I would actually test drive the Ineos. RR and G series and Urus are just too ubiquitous with the trophy wife set where I live, and probably everywhere.

Yeah those are not DD seats. No one is DD'ing an M3 :ban: Unless of course you're made of money. That said I am pretty sure I had em on the track and I don't remember them being super uncomfortable if anything they were quite nice. Similar to the porsche buckets... Hmmm But that was 2 years ago.. I...

I was thinking the same, for $80k or whatever like 95% of people will think it’s a G Wagen. It looked awesome. It's much more interesting than a G Wagen. Agreed, I’m not a G Wagen person at all but they are status symbols and really fucking expensive. This thing delivers in all those ways and is a ...

I think they're built by Magna? Correct. It’s actually relatively well priced for what it is… essentially a loaded wrangler stickers the same way but doesn’t come with a “proper engine” unless you 392 at which point it’s 100k. But it gets abysmal mpg and has like 10 turns lock to lock and terrible ...

Yes. Sort of. I had to get a Real ID and was instructed to bring every such thing. I show up the first attempt and now they have it where you can a QR code to get in line then sit in your car. I used the pressure washer on all the cars today to wash the pollen off. It's pretty rare I physically touch a car with a sponge anymore. Most of the time a rinse, Obsessed Garage foam cannon, and another rinse are as good or better than a touch less wash and I can do both cars in about 5mins. Buuu...

You are just a snob now. It's an obnoxious muscle car. Better than a Challenger. https://www.caranddriver.com/ford/mustang-shelby-gt500 I just feel like mustangs have a price point. And that price point is well below 60k. It’s not a rich man’s car and I hate that ford is trying to take it there. It...

The C8 should look better than it does. There is some Pontiac Grand Am Plastic genome in that thing. Also I wouldn't own one for a week without tossing the square tipped exhaust and installing BROLA. Yep the square exhaust has to go. Easy enough fix. And the auto tragic only is also a bit :gay: as ...

I've seen multiple outlets or people say the same. IIRC Lotus is aware and trying to make it better It seems like a dumb thing to mess up in a Lotus. The shifter in the Elise I drove sucked.
