I still can't believe those trucks cost as much, even at MSRP. No leather. Cheap materials everywhere inside. Needs 100% interior makeover. But people keep buying them... :wtf:

Well, you gotta pay for those 10k miles that they put on it for you. Did you think that break-in service was free?

Got picked up as a “brand ambassador” by my favorite supplement company. Pretty stoked. I’ve had opportunities with other brands before, but didn’t want to put my name on something I don’t actually use. This company I used their stuff daily. If any of the gymbros here, or anyone else who includes w...

Installed the Pi-hole docker container on my NAS today and I'm currently testing it with a couple PCs here. Seems to work pretty damned well so far. Didn't have as much luck with the AdGuard container. https://i.imgur.com/2J08ZnC.png Got my Ubiquiti gear in too, so going to be setting that up this w...

Map of Detroit on the roof... I guess its true that you can take the car out of the 'hood, but you can't take the 'hood out of the car.

Where's the $500 option to remove that?

With the way companies like Carvana and Vroom are appraising used cars, the STI could probably get a killer deal and they can bandaid the CMax until employment happens. Wanna know what else has gone up in price? A :baby: :doge: , apparently they are selling high end breed pups for upwards to $4K. :...

75 is the highway cruising sweet spot IMO. I too have zero issue with it, and can do it for hours. I've been doing the 250 miles between the place up state and downstate every week for the last few weeks in my JT, and it's easy at 75. But I also don't see the point in speeding anymore...I'm happy j...

I forgot about the :jesus: mandated liquor laws, guess there are 3 negative things about NC. :ohwell: I buy maybe 3-5 bottles annually, so whatever. It certainly beats the hoth downsides you've just outlined :disgust: 3-5 bottles a year isn't too bad. https://www.scotchmaltwhisky.co.uk/images/tomin...

I don't think they are THAT different. But the Sahara I had did average around 19-20mpg with my mostly freeway time. Tire noise isn't an issue. wind noise is ... Just keep it in mind. I don't think I've ever been in a store you have to be a member of. Is it really worth it? Aren't the quantities kind of large for a family of two? There are certain things at Costco that are stone cold deals, and some that are just ok At Costco it's not really the quantity that drives the interest...

The only other car I could think of is a GT-R they have notorious 30k $5k brake jobs. I thought I heard of STI brakes being pretty expensive as well. Have I mentioned how much I hate car ownership and repair shops in general? Crooks. Agreed. I haven't had to get any repairs or inspections in forever and I'm happy about that. In California when you buy a brand new car it gets a deferred first smog check and are exempt for 6 years. After that it's...

So true. I've eased off on the sushi in the last couple years. We used to go once a week at work, but things got in the way so we started going less.
