Yeah I think that if you have pretty good position/ergonomics/gearing you can go plenty fast on most frames. Aero/weight only make like a 10% difference at the most. 10% if massive if you are a pro and even for me it is a big difference that I care about, but it is less than most people would lead ...

I feel like this is a better way to do it. My insurance does cover physicals/preventative but that is the only thing it's paying for since the deductible is high and it's 100% out of pocket up to that point. The company does give $900/year in HSA which I don't use much of, so :aintcare: I feel like...

Ahhh yeah I am not familiar with the Honda hybrids other than the OG Insight which is still the coolest appliance car made in my lifetime I MO. Too bad they apparently never got better at that game. I have kinda wanted one with a :manuel: for a long time. It would have been the best choice for most...

Doesn't the Prius do like 60 mpg city? Seems like a hybrid SUV should be able to do 40, as long as it's basically a lifted Prius. It's not though, the CR-V is more like a Volt without a big enough battery for any real EV Range. My Volt in gas mode (which is like the CR-V all the time) "only&qu...

You could do a :scrooge: 1x8 setup for like $200 all-in and see some massive ease-of-use improvements. My R2000 Claris 1x8 setup with the aliexpress crank on the Domane is perfect, as was the 3x8 Claris on my old Motobecane. I kind of want to sell my carbon bike at this point, it's not faster - at l...

I can't say that I've tried many hot bottles, I normally just order stuff that's spicy already from peppers or whatever is in the dish. I did have a bottle of Cholula in NY though and it tasted good. In my cooking I use crushed red pepper most of the time to add spice.

Re: OT XXX: COVID Off Topic
But the jump from: you voted for Trump, therefore, you didn't get the vaccine... Huh? The poll you were quoting said that 91 percent of Biden voters were vaccinated vs only 50 percent of Trump voters. How's that a loose correlation? It's nearly fucking double. The second jump I was hoping we would ...

It's :caspian: when you weigh opinions from crackpots (or yourself in most cases, we generally don't know enough about any of these things) equally against those of actual experts. There's usually a grey area between black and white. Seeking out information is a sign of intelligence, not :caspian: ...

There's obviously no way to test that, but this is where I think you're entirely :wrong: I don't know a single person who would not get vaccinated under Trump, assuming similar levels of documented efficacy/safety. Only one side thinks that facts are up for debate. I know many people who were hesit...

I think it would swing either direction too, btw, depending on who is in the white house. If Trump had won, and was pushing the vaccine, I think we would see the opposite, with fewer democrats on average getting vaccinated than Republicunts. That's the problem. It's being politicized. But again, it...

I wash my bike every 3 months. It has some dirt on it that’s at least that old right meow. When I wash I dry it with a towel and then lube the chain at the very least. Usually scrub down the drivetrain though. It takes a while. Longer if I remove the chain and clean it appropriately. I'm thinkin I ...

Lol, if your point was to address that vaccines work, just post the efficacy studies. The reality is, that's not your point. Your point is to try to tie politics to death rate poorly, so you can claim a moral victory and spike the football on some graves. There's more of a spread in vaccination rat...
