Re: Another "Help me make up my mind" thread

Need deets too... Color/options/ :manuel: or DSGAY Lapiz blue :manuel:. It's the fully loaded model as that's all VW made for 2017. Notable features are adjustable dampers, driver assist pack, 19" pretorias, Fender stereo, and built in nav. If there were a base model like there was for 2016 I ...

I guess it all levels out in the end.
It did. With the :unicorn: trade offer and fewer fees associated with the diller here in PA, it came out to be $716 cheaper to just buy it here versus driving down to VA.

So I kind of did a thing. :plac: The local :dillerman: made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I put the $500 deposit down on the R so they can hold it for me while I get my mods off. :ohdang: Grats, mang!! The local :dillerman: is giving me $11k on trade for my GTI. I was :mindblown:. Re: RE: Re: Another "Help me make up my mind" thread

Looking at my email with the Lindsay VW guy he said this. I guess I can ask him to confirm if that's the OTD price. That note about the $1,000 bonus is on GTI's as well because I believe it's a nationwide VW promotion. Should I email the King diller too since they're about $150 cheaper on sale pric...

Almost forgot about the PCV in addition to a $2k clutch job soon.

Email the VA and MD :dillerman: while also going to my local one to get numbers?

:triggered: Not sure I can or would want to go back there. I don't know though. Would they just waive all those requirements like the Lindsay Loyalty and financing? Add in... $579 processing fee $820 "freight charge" $1,000 Lindsay VW loyalty bonus which you won't get Requires VW/Lindsay financing, currently no special offers from VW Credit, so you'd be looking at 3-5% I think for top tier credit rating. "Includes all incentives and rebates from...

Re: Another "Help me make up my mind" thread

Bringing this back. Apparently these Golf R dills are legit. I called this diller in VA and he insisted the pricing is correct and there is nothing crazy going on. Sale on them goes till the end of the month so it's not a weekend only thing. However, his sight unseen appraisal on my GTI was only $8k...

Re: Johnny_P's Street Parking Palooza

I know the topic has been beaten to death but back to the whole we don't offer test drives thing until you're buying. The :dillerman: told me they don't allow test drives because they don't get many of them and prospective buyers are picky about the miles. They don't get many cars probably because t...

I had no problem either at Glanzman or Cherry Hill. :dat: Or go to the place in Allentown. They have a good selection, large dillership. If you want, I can give you the contact info for the guys I bought my car from in North Jersey, Liberty Subaru. It's a hike though, so only worth it if you know w...

Re: Johnny_P's Street Parking Palooza

Where'd you go to test drive the WRX? Reedman doesn't allow test drives. They have to run numbers and before you sign the paperwork then they let you drive. They're like corvettes they said.

I don't want to waste time driving to any other subaru dillers.

It's a great car for sure. I probably won't have it very long though. I'm really envious of people that do not give a single fuck about their vehicle. Amazing how quickly the tides change considering you JUST bought it. At least residuals will be strong. When you gotta :plac: you gotta :plac:.

Maybe a Golf R? :iono: although cost roughly the same as the slowmaro and moostang. So I picked the car up this past Wednesday night. Supposedly the water leak is fixed but of course, the sting of :mahtroy: luck continues with this GTI. Yep. :manuel: only.
Was gonna say, look at the S3... but nvm.
I did briefly think about them. The last time I checked used ones they were holding their value pretty well. IIRC most were still over $40k.

A sepang blue S3 with a :manuel: would be :tits:

Re: Gberg's GTI Thread

The Camaro is definitely the one I want but I just don't think it would be sensible to daily drive one in the northeast. It's also the most expensive of the cars I've been looking at. The whole slow car fast or fast car slow debate comes in to play here as well. A hot hatch is the front-runner beca...

Re: Gberg's GTI Thread

Apparently Mk6 GTI's can leak water through the speaker in the door and it's a common problem. :iono: I don't buy it. All the searches I've done the water leaks are usually caused by sunroof drains and door seals, not water coming from behind the speaker. One thing I do know is that I have to get ri...
