OT 15: New Year, New Poo
Crazier is she LOVES wearing these things. We'll put it on her, and she'll fight us when we try to take it off. She's like JP's dog with short hair, so the more coverage from a coat the better. We usually put that fleece one on her when we're taking her on a walk and there's zero shivering or conce...

Said it on Facebook but wanted to say it again - congrats! You both look thrilled!
Her ring looks very much like my wife's, albeit a slightly larger main stone. Is the .8 the total carat of the ring, or just the main stone itself?

Been out of the gym since Christmas Eve, unfortunately. The week of Christmas was a ski vacation (which ended up only being one day on the mountain due to weather). And I've been sick since New Year's soooo.... today's workout is going to kick my ass after work.

Water heaters: Tankless or tank? Ours is 25 years old :yikes: time to replace it. I think the cold water dip tube is gone inside the unit because water at the tap will oscillate between hot and cold. So I'm wondering if it's worth it to go tankless. Something to keep in mind, the exhaust is what it...

FINANCE: Cash Back Credit Cards
I personally have the Chase Freedom and Discover cards which both have rotating 5% cashback each quarter (with 1% on everything else), as others have said. I also have the Capital One Quicksilver which is 1.5% on everything, though I mainly got it for no international fees for when my wife and I tra...

Decided to push squats a little this morning to test my knee out. At the end of the squat workout, it called for an 8+ set at 305. In past workouts, I just got the prescribed reps and called it to avoid aggravating my R knee. Today, I did an extra rep, and definitely still had some in the tank. Slow...

Training has been going well lately, going on 3 weeks now back from injuries! R knee acts up during most leg workouts, particularly squats, but can handle the full workout as long as I warm up and stretch enough. Once we're done with our bathroom remodel, I'll channel my inner @SAWCE and...

Ceiling has been de-popcorned and painted. New tile has been laid and grouted - just waiting on it to dry a bit so we can clean it up. Vanity has been painted - just need to get the new nickel handles from the store. Countertop is being fabricated. Sink, faucet, and toilet are all being shipped. Shi...

My wife and I started demo on our first floor/communal bathroom this weekend. Took out the toilet, vanity, and all the crappy old tiles. All that's left for demo is to take out the old shower, but we'll need to get into the drywall to remove it fully. It's like mounted to the studs with the drywall...

Have you driven an MQB :turboyaris: ? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk Yeah, I drove @Jaxper's a few years back. Stock, it was basically like my MK6 with a toon, IMO. I definitely like them a lot, I loved my MK6. I just sold to "save money" . :plac: :sissyfight: I'm biased but I vote ...

LA Fitness sent me an email trying to get me to rejoin the gym. I replied saying that I would only join for an annual fee of $1 since my home gym has most of what I need. Let's see what they say, if anything at all.

I'm already nursing this ish with my knee, so I don't want to aggravate my neck and have another thing to nurse. I went to the chiropractor so hopefully it'll be resolved after sleeping again today (going to make sure I don't fall asleep in any funky position lol). Sleeping on my back with a pillow...

Ze wife and I are leaning toward selling some stock to pay off the remainder of my GTI (~6.5k), without worrying about our safety net, so that we can have that $460/mo back into our budget.
