How much are you trying to tow? I can tell you from first hand experience that 7000-8000lbs is ok, and 12000lbs is scary in the Ram 1500 with the diesel... It is rated at 8000 which is why I have been bitching about the Gladiator with the 3.6 no fucking way would I tow anywhere near the max with it...
