Lemon law case was settled, didn't end with a buyback; but got cash. Sold the truck to CarMax last night.

Also, missed that the GTO was boosted. :neat:
Yeah just waiting to see if the company I bought the turbo from decides to call me back with some support/part numbers. :iono:

May flip the blower for a different kit or some kind of yerrbo.

Rabbit update: Turbo is shot. Sounds like it's falling apart when spooling above idle. GTO Update: I took the bumper off to look at the condition of the couplers, they'll need to be replaced as they seem pretty crusty but no worries. We found the source of the CEL and it was a PCV nipple at the thro...

Speaking of GM vehicle owners being told "could not replicate" my lemon law case wasn't a complete success but it netted me some cash to make up for most of the SS equity I had. I may just drop it off at Carmax and then go back to being in vehicles which are 20 years old. :sendit: I pine ...

The only CVT experience I have was with a 2012 Nissan Versa. Although that whole car was a mistake, much like my birth.

Nope, they have only focused on the software/firmware side of things as I suppose that is the direction they were told to go per GM.
Very weird. So if software doesn't work, they'll tell you to pound sand?
That's what I have been told since my first complaint of the issue :iono:

Yeah sorry, I worded that incorrectly. That was their stance when I contacted GM, since then I have brought the truck to the dealer with the screen flashing, sending videos of every single occurrence, and the GM tech assistance dept just keeps having them re-run the same programming 'fix' that was ...

I had tried to bring it up with GM Customer Care prior to going the external route, but was told if it can't be replicated with the tech then there is no problem with the vehicle. I believe I'm trying to wash my hands of anything GM made within the last 5 years (especially new), but it's a good package overall. GM could salvage the deal by putting me in a '19 and buying this flaming pile back, maybe that's asking too much? :iono: Would be the 10th dealer visit for this nonsense. GM does buybacks all the time. Start mentioning "lemon law" around your dealer...or ask to talk to the GM field rep ab...

Unfortunately that would be the limiting factor. Gladiator costs too much right now, and I don't think the 3.6 would enjoy towing too much. JLU is capped at 3500 lbs, same as the JKU. It's a tail wagging the dog situation - short wheelbase and soft springs do not a good tow vehicle make. GM offerin...
