I did see an Ineos yesterday and it looked quite :neat: I’m still at 0 of those. They seem shockingly well built for a brand new car company Seen a few hanging out at the Ferrari dealer. They seem.... decent? I dunno. The side attachment rail things are stupid. But otherwise the truck seems decent.

So I’m making a list of sports cars that would be within each price bracket that are decent … 1. GR86 (30-40k) 2. Type R Shitvic (40-50k) 3. M2 (60-70k) 4. C8 (70-80k) 5. M3 (75-85k) 6. Carrera T (130-140k) I ran the ownership numbers too … cheapest is GR86 (duh) at $793 a month Carrera T is $2230 ...

Borrowed my mom’s Honda Insight for a trip with the kid. It’s basically a civic hybrid. Maybe a bit too small and typical Honda poor assembly quality. But 62 mpg is pretty dece and it’s not awful to drive. Handles ok. Hybrid is clunky in operation. Maybe an accord hybrid would be good as a dad car. ...

Saw a couple cyber trucks recently. Wrapped ones look hilariously stupid. The stock stainless looks alright I guess. Certainly unique. I wouldn’t buy one but whatever.
I’m meh on it.

You know what would have been helpful? Leading with this information to give context as to why I should limp a 30yo AC system along. This is something I did not know and is very helpful knowledge. I see all sides of this. I TOLD Brad about this shit. I was real mad dropping 7400 on 410 when I found...

You are right. Brad is :wrong: 30 years? That is fucking ancient. Thing is dead man walking. Control your environment. Control your life. :dat: 30 years is boiler life span, not furnace. Fortunately, our boiler pissed the bed (sprung a non-fixable leak) in the summer so we weren't under pressure to...

Alright well Johnny gonna be real fucking mad when he finds out r-410a is also being phased out and he has to pay 300 a lb for refrigerant in 8 years on a system top up. I'd take that 2 year gamble on a working system. Hell... I AM. my r-22 ac is real fuckin old...like 1987. Im hoping to not put in...

We had a similar thing happen to us. AC shit the bed the year we moved in. Turns out all the refrigerant leaked out at some point and it was that old stuff which they couldn't replace. Ours was about 25 years old so we just replaced the whole system. that makes sense IF ITS LEAKING / BROKEN. Rippin...

I’ve taken my toddler to rooftop bars. Just gotta go early is all.
The feeding schedule is tough but if you can work around that and bring a bottle then you can go nearly anywhere with them.

I am very much anti airbnb, considering the fact that you pay 190$ for cleaning fee and you have to leave spotless. Unless maybe there isn't an accommodation I can find outside for intended destination Yet somehow there are 100s of thousands of them in this country and they are generating iNcOmE an...

35-50k in todays world is not "expensive" per say since the average transaction price is 48k. :disgust: I keep waiting for the shoe to drop but somehow the average american family making 70k can afford a 48k car and a 470k house and many vacations as AIRBnB is thriving... I just don't get...

20 on the van is pretty bad but I guess it’s a rolling shipping container. Weird the atlas does better on fuel. Did you test a 2.0T one or just the VR6? I wonder how laggy that motor feels in something this large. Not surprising that it drives better than it should. Nice to hear. And I keep reading ...

Yes we have talked about the cost and know we need to cut it back. You only have bits of information and I’m really not going to share more about that since it’s a sensitive subject for her. But yes as I mentioned if that can be cut back the options open wider. Wifey has been pushing to sell the 86...

You guys have an Atlas too, right? What's your assessment on that vehicle versus the van if you're only using the first two rows regularly? How it drives, ease of use, MPG, etc type daily use.

I had a CX-30 as a rental for a week. It was great for what it was. Mazda gets a lot correct with their cars. Their infotainment being knob controlled, no touchscreen, widescreen, and in your line of sight seems like a no brainer. Yet, they're the only ones really doing that. Also, the old six spee...
