:fuckyeah: pretty soon you’ll be craving some real bike action. Portland area is great for it.

Work can eat it. Another round of promotions, another round of getting passed over. I'm so over this place, need to get TF out. Fuck man :disgust: My work just seems to want to clean house. Firing people on the regular… making quotas impossible to hit. Definitely not a great environment. Ain't that...

Lisa was in the hospital for 2 days because she was having steady contractions. She’s at 34 weeks so too early. She’s also got a placenta previa meaning the placenta is over the cervix. So it’s an automatic C section. Thankfully the contractions stopped and she’s back home. But man shit got real fo...

The Madone is LAID out. Phew. I hopped on one while cross-shopping the TCR and that had to be the least comfortable bike I've ever been on. It's so long up top I probably would have needed a 52, but then the drop to the bars would have been enormous.

See, I hated the FA20 in the WRX. No fun to rev and very uneven. I also thought the engine in the CTR was boring. It does a job but it doesn't feel like a Honda engine. Keep in mind, I guess, that I'm not coming at this from the perspective of looking for a daily. If I were, I'd just get another MK7...

You didn’t ask me… but I think yes. However, that’s only if you need the practicality. Type R is pretty impressive at/around MSRP, it’s light, fun, fast, reliable, and can do any dad/work/trip whatever stuff you throw at it. It’s basically what the M3 was in the E36 era. I think the 86 is pretty eq...

Next up is new shocks. I'll need an impact and a second jack for the job, but there's about a $350 difference between their estimate and the cost for the shocks alone, so in a way I can buy some tools for free.

Whelp, the van is fixed. The shop just ended up doing the top half as requested. Cost was $410 versus ~$240 to do it myself, but a) I don't have time, and b) It's nice to know they inspected the bottom half after it was all cleaned up and confirmed there's no additional leak. No new spots on the dri...

I had a new '22 EX-L at MSRP reserved. Would've been $42k, and with the $37k trade offer on the GR86, I only would have had to pay sales tax on ~$5k of that purchase price. Interesting 20+ local honda dealers here were not willing to :dill: at all back in 22... They are back to reality now but it w...
