Well I went into sport mode every drive which disabled it automatically but it had that as well. The throttle not in sport mode made the manual kind of undriveable . The handful of times I did try it though, it was less annoying than in our Wrongler. This is what :triggered: me in the R. Blipping t...

I like the way VW did the light up badges (and rear badge!) on the ID.4. I don’t mind that vehicle overall really. Weird interior ergo quirks aside.

12k off. But yea... :yikes: IMO it competes really well with a Prius. As a commuter or daily car it’s pretty perfect. Especially if you have a second, gas powered vehicle for longer trips. Like it’s perfect for me aside from being a bit small. But Julian has no legs so 🤷‍♂️ maybe it wouldn’t be so ...

https://i.postimg.cc/dhDNTLFj/IMG-1776.jpg That’s the corner of my yard. The gray stuff is sewage. Under the plastic is sewage chunks. Dog is eating it. So I can’t let her out back unsupervised, which was a major reason we wanted to move from south Philly. Internet says to use garden lime and fence...

Toilets backed up again and the kitchen sink went back to slow draining. Gotta get a different plumber out. Hopefully one that doesn’t spray sewage all over my basement again. I’m f’ing done with this house. Started looking at real estate listings again. I’ve spent $6k per month on repairs since we ...

Anything you can attribute this to other than the sands of time? Nope, just old. likely corroded in the center/low point over time and eventually internal stresses said "no more holmes" and it cracked. Yall will love my temp fix tho.... big ass hose clamp for an intake. enough to squeeze ...

Ya know. That’s a solid car at a very good price. I’d love to own one of these.

I guess I will get a new utility bill soon. I expect the gas portion alone to be over $600 since it was a lot colder this month. 3 story brick house with no insulation and single pane windows yay. Electric has been about $110 but that’s because the old people that lived here before were the type to...

Winter sees more lighting usage. But even if it takes 6mo. And even if the bulb only lasts 4 years. It’s still a cost savings to install them vs incandescent. eh. all the 'energy savings' of LED's are mostly from heat, or more accurately not putting it into the house for removal later. in the winte...

Oh and we got an electric tea kettle. The gas stove was taking over 10 minutes to boil water for tea. Kettle takes 2 mins. I wonder if total cost to heat the water is reduced or not.

I think it looks ok :iono: Looks like a GTI. The badges on the door look stupid, and will look especially retarded on a white one. But that's likely easy to remove. I see they didn't fix the touch sliders. New steering wheel looks nice. Yeah it seems ok to me? I wonder if they're going to do a cool ...

Didn’t realize the limited got the same rear diff as the adventure. That’s neat. And yeah that would help with stability in snow and ice.

Our house stays pretty constant at 65-66 all day and night in the winter. If the kid wakes up I want him to get out of bed to go potty, not shiver in his bed and pee there. He's pretty good about it anymore tho.

Gas bill was $400 last month.

The Rage4. That actually handled the snow quite well the last few days. The point is a zr2 is around 53k well equipped and a bro 4x is in the 40s still. There is no justification for a 60k+ Tacoma even in this super rich economy. It has always been a value truck for the poors The Frontier is an exercise in designing a vehicle for IQS ratings. After 20,000 miles mine (a...

So update on sewer pipe. I’m working from home on the 3rd floor. Plumber came and we put the dog outside with Lisa and Julian. It was snowing so this was very fun for all involved. Sink and toilets plugged up again. Plumber out for the 4th time today. He’s jetting the whole sewer line. Last time they found a huge plug of grease. But they fixed the symptom and didn’t check the rest. Edit: yep more and more grease. There’s no way this all came from us. So that’s fun. Found black...
