Tar's Adventures with a GoRf Failomatic

Glad yours is holding up! Have you had any signs of carbon build up yet? I feel like this is more of a city driving problem. So far so good, the car idles great, has full power on tap, and the only fluids it consumes is premium fuel. How is your version two holding up? Any drama with it? How are yo...

Snagged some piktars of the MK8 GTI. Lots of glossy slide and touch buttons on the steering wheel. Shifter with the :manuel: looks :nice: . From an Aussie review, not the best angles. https://i.postimg.cc/JsvDSB57/Screenshot-20201126-105100-Samsung-Internet.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/pht9LbSg/Screens...

I'll buy that if you can ship it to Ontario, Canada with little trouble. Let me look into what it would cost for Canadian shipping. May have to add a small fee to account for the potential additional charges, if you're okay with that? I have two VWs. I will be happy to pay the shipping surcharges! ...

I am curious. :word: Will :doit: when I get a chance. I'll be looking forward to your update as well. Curious to get your impressions on the 7.5 vs 6. I do like the shoulder of the 6 in the rear quarter panel/door more and it is neat to see VW revive that profile on the Mark 8. I really appreciated...

Glad to see it is holding up. I've been enjoying my '19 Rabbit so far, and my hope is to run out the 6/72 warranty before looking at the MK8 Rs. The MK8R comes with a lot of cool hardware; I like that they addressed the AWD system and brakes the most. :jelly: I'm probably not going to spend over 30...

:dat: is what I did in Indiana. New house doesn’t have any trees :science: But if we did the city picks them up with the vacuum truck. I have a few trees, but the majority of trees are in my neighbors' yards. It's like my property is the eye of the leaf hurricane every fall. :dat: I'm the same way,...

Very detailed and thorough review ! Goes to show stock and reliable good service has a lot in common. Impressions after 120,000 km! It seems that my fellow Lapiz Bloo brothers are all MIA lately, @Gberg2119 @dubshow @corvettewaxer, you'll be happy to know that the :gorf: does not start to fall apart as it ages, and if anything, I can say that the car starts to proverbially shine as it ages. Rona Poll - Did you catch it ?

They do, but it’s by appointment and 3 days out... Not that it really matters. If she’s got it; it’s just a matter of time for me to get it too. Weirdly, I know multiple couples where one spouse got it, the other did not. It also seems common for one person to have horrible symptoms and the other t...
