I rebuilt the axle with fresh boots and grease via an OEM kit from the dealer and finally removed the sway bar completely since it’s not a daily anymore.

I don’t have any first hand experience with OEM+ but they have a fantastic reputation.

The irony is that since it’s not a daily anymore I was going to ditch the sway bar completely I just hadn’t gotten to it yet. Not I get to do a boot and clean up.

The 4Runner went on strike when I bought the Vibe as a daily. The forged sway bar end links didn’t even make it a year before snapping off clean and stuffing the sway bar into the CV. So much or aftermarket “upgrades”
