Fix the ducting. gas furnace aint rocket science. might run another 10+ years. Only found out about the duct issue recently...

Whenever I see a greasy, shiny, steering wheel I assume the car has been neglected.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 12:41 pm Sorry didn't see the hard pass. Not too surprising. Why do people hate their cars?

It's kind of weird... some vehicles came down... others are holding steady. I.E used porsches are still well above MSRP. Which is :fullretard: I don't even bother with looking at Porsche :lolol: #poorlyfe :dat: I still play with their configurator every so often but I never look at actual listings ...

Picked up the harbor freight Daytona 3 ton in whorange for $130 after the usual coupon. :notbad: :nice: I have whorange as well (when I picked mine up, they had it as a floor model). This is a classic case of the “You versus the guy she tells you not to worry about” meme. The 3 ton absolutely dwarf...

M ppl. Any reason to not just do this single mid pipe and keep factory muffler? https://www.vr-speed.com/vrsf-high-flow-single-mid-pipe-upgrade-2015-2019-bmw-m3-m4-f80-f82-s55.html Seems cost effective. I dont hate the sound. Factory muffler as in the rear axleback? If so, then it's really personal...

The HF daytona super duty is the same one snap on sells for $1k. The regular one you linked is fine for me but if I worked on my cars a lot the super duty has a 3 year warranty as opposed to 90 days on the other ones. https://www.harborfreight.com/automotive/jacks-jack-stands/floor-jacks/3-ton-low-...

If I did replace it it'd be with either a 2 ton HF or Husky :lolol: I'm going to assume they're using 'murican tons as the listing for the 2 ton says 4000 lbs. They're probably all made in the same chinese factory anyway. https://www.costco.com/arcan-xl3000-heavy-duty-all-steel-3.0-ton-jack.product...

So with spring right around the corner and the summer ramz going back on, do I need a new floor jack? I currently have the harbor freight pittsburgh 1.5 ton which was fine for the VW's but the BMW is about 500 pounds heavier at 3800 lbs. The R was ~3300 which is right near the rating at 1.5 tons bu...

WHAT. Are you sure those aren't CS wheel prices? The comp are Style 666m right? I see those in the 5x120 for sale FB group all the time for 2000 or trade for 513 I will look harder. I just remember being shocked, wheels selling for what the damn package cost. Ebay says $3-3.5k https://www.ebay.com/...

Whoa it deletes 2 cats and 2 mufflers :mindblown: that's wild... I probably wouldn't fuck with that but the last 1 or 2 mufflers may actually be a decent mod. What kind of exhaust does the M4 CSL use? I would think that was properly tuned for "performance" I don't really believe the whole...

Does a stock M3 actually sound bad? I don't remember any issues with it... Unlike the :disgust: E46 RASP aka can of nails bashing through your head every time you keep up with a minivan. Coming from nearly 15 years of VW turbo 4 poppers, I think it sounds great but it is on the quieter side. I'm no...

any reason to avoid the common pipe style? https://store.activeautowerke.com/products/f8x-bmw-m3-m4-mid-pipe?variant=2054123880479 It will retain the raspy sound. The spaghetti pipes will make it sound closer to something like the B58 which most people prefer. I thought it was.. Single midpipe: sou...

TLX Type S seems like a great buy around $40k and they'd have way fewer miles on them than the germans. 355hp, sh-awd, and brembros. These look totally rad but have pathetic gas mileage and performance is merely on par with the 4 cyl Germans. Also enormous car with no interior space. They do look s...

Equal length mid pipe is absolutely the way to go IMO like the S55. Yuuuuup. Probably going to go with active autowerke which of course is the most expensive but :wasteful: Coming from the vw world it seems odd that there are 3 different kinds of midpipes to choose from. https://www.instagram.com/r...

We had sunny and 65 weather here today so I finally got to take the car on a backroad drive for a bit. :impressive: I think we all kinda got swept up in the hype of the GR Rolla. :iono: after I sat in one in person... I was pretty disappointed at the quality of the vehicle. The Corolla felt like a 20k econohatch and the civic felt a bit more like 35-40k. Yet their prices were a lot closer a 6 months...
