meh, just run it. No one checks that anyway.
Up here they do. You get an approval sticker that stays on it for the whole year.
:notsure:

I don't think my helmet was ever checked.

Re: Gberg's GoRf Thread

Res delete + drop in should definitely give me the sound I want.

Open intakes are too loud and closed ones are too expensive. Most closed aftermarket intakes reuse the stock airbox anyway so I figured I'll try the drop in.

5/7 feelz to swap them out. Those are still the nicest VW rams on the MK7 platform IMO
Without a doubt. Love the pretoria's. New ramz on both the GTI and GoRf are horrendous.

God damn dude. Hopefully they fix it right.

What's with all these cars on DFD getting hit/crangshafts/boulders?

Re: Crangshaft Aftermath: The Search for Bi-Xenons

See I don’t kno if I want to jump to conclusions considering the circumstances. I’ll see what behavior the car exhibits over the next few weeks and see if it requires attention. Circumstances: 1. I was driving car hard. 2. Up ramp and hard right turn in a parking garage. 3. 2,000 miles away from 10...

You cereal? You did the ECS one right? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk Yes. I work with a few techs that own GTI's and GLI's. They drove it and instantly bought the part. Takes the weird dead-zone feeling and makes it feel like an actual pedal again. It's awesome. It's still driving me crazy i...

Totally off topic per usual at DFD but did you ever do the bleeder block on the GTI? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk Yes. Completely changes the car. It's the best $120 i've ever spent on anything automotive EVER. You cereal? You did the ECS one right? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

Re: Crangshaft Aftermath: The Search for Bi-Xenons

So $1800 for a single cam and a warrantied fuel pump? Taking dat shaft doe. eh, not really when you factor in the other hardware needed to replace the cam, valve cover gasket, probably somewhere in the range of 10 hours of billable labor and an OEM camshaft. You've gotta figure at a NYC metro VW de...

Working for me. Check popup settings.

Also, I'm in the middle of trying to establish and enable SSL encryption, so might have been a glitch.
Is that the reason I keep getting knocked out of the site? Have to keep logging back in.

Needless to say the April one is out. May I'm not sure but I'd be down for any of the others.

I'd definitely be in the novice class as I've never done a track day.
