Have to agree with this. To add insult to injury the cost of a decent hotel room has tripled.

I wash my cars on weekend mornings @ 6 a.m because that's when the shade is. I would hardly call it fun at the level of of repetitiveness that is required. I would say I have it down to an exact science, like doing laundry. Even if I was retired, I would not wash my cars under the glare of the orb....

Pretty lucky here for car washing in that we have a north facing driveway and are far enough from the equator that it is shaded most of the day. This is not a good thing during our annual ice-week since our driveway does not thaw.. it was, however, my south-driveway-facing neighbors who managed to ...

These infrequent car wash stories blow my mind. In the desert, having no precipitation but also having wind that blows the desert floor upon your vehicle, frequent washing is essential unless you want to drive around in squalor.

It's really a nice toaster to live with day to day. One :| is that the fuel capacity shrunk from 18.5 gal in ours to only 14 in the current ones.
That's dumb. Gas tanks these days are by and large just too damn small.

Mid-year performance review went great. Exceeds expectations across the board with notable growth in taking on more of a headship role with my contract actions instead of setting to my contract officers. I'd consider a Prius Crime a long term hold. Also, shelling out $40K for an acceptable appliance that gets 50mpg is fine with me. Paying $140K for a Porsche when that money spins off 5.5% is less fine. :amazing: compare. Just shows that I don't have enough money to not give a fuck about $140K. But ...
