Great story, would read again! That's hilarious. Do you think the old dude knows he is a legend and a laughingstock? He has a son that's around my age. He definitely knows. He even calls his dad the LOWD Father. Not sure how self aware his dad is though. I think he's aware he's the creator, but I'm...

Is the car loud? In4 plate story. "LOWD" is a Flyers thing. Like "Deaf Valley" is for LSU. :lolol: I can't believe you've heard of it. Yes, it's a Dayton basketball thing. When you hear the actual origin of it though, it gets even more ridiculous. There's a small group of us tha...

Ignore the garbage cans.
Took awhile a good hour or two to bleed the hydraulic cylinders in the Quick Jacks, but these things are pretty awesome. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Thanks dude! Still no official word, but buddy just texted me that he saw my offer from the compensation team. I was expecting to have to take a $10k cut, but was mentally and financially prepared to take $15-20k cut if needed.. their initial offer is coming in only $3k lower than my current salary...

Anything you can share? Here is what should be clear to most. 1. Anyone trying to find a job or switch careers. Likely halt to hirings everywhere as a first step. Rumors of mass lay offs if these things stick. 2. T&E getting cut, so yea trade shows etc about to get it up the ass. I’d expect con...

Good deal. Got some preworkout, chewables, and brownie batter brotein. Thanks homie. I used to be huge into lifting and working out in my younger days. Life and work got in the way the last few years, but trying to get back into it. Took a lot of supplements back then and was trying to see what pre...

Going to order some stuff. Trying to get back into lifting regularly. Any experience with the preworkout chewables? Nice! Thanks man. The chewable are cool for getting to hit a specific caffeine dose. I was using them when I was training at night because I could pop two of them for a quick 50mg bum...

One last plug for the pre-workout before the contest ends today. Got a handful of tubs of it sold, let’s get a few more. Buy Primal, plug my code “Bomber” in for a discount, we both win. Yay. Going to order some stuff. Trying to get back into lifting regularly. Any experience with the preworkout ch...

:notbad: Although I really don’t want for space in my 1100 square-foot house. I would be pretty happy with the garage of 600. yea, there of of course exceptions :lolol: car guy and small house needs MOAR. The house we built in BR had a 600 sf garage, and i had about 60sf of 10' ceiling attached sto...

I'm going to see what it looks like when it gets here. I have a 3 car garage, with all 3 vehicles parked in it. It's pretty tight though, with the snow blower, a mower, etc in front of the miata. I'll probably go the route of hanging them on the wall once I figure it all out. Once you do the initial...

*miserable story of terrible thing* $1500+ for a new steering rack. $1500+ for Quick Jacks. And a handful of weekends laying on the garage floor and cursing. Holy shit man, thanks so much for the heads up, 'cause I will be putting her in the air soon for the oil change. Thats an awful mishap, and m...

There's a gray M2 at one our of satellite offices. Looks much better in everything other than the pastel blue and red.

The yellow highlighted part is what you're supposed to use for the front. So tiny. And the undercoating is all black and slippery. The jack has to slide forward as it keeps going up, and just slid right off the front. The red X is where it punched through.

This happened to me on Sunday. I posted this on the other forum I'm on. Just thought I'd repost here as a warning to Brad. I'm on a roll just fucking things up in my life these days. First I clipped a truck with the Lightning. Got that back after months in the shop. I think to myself: "Great, I...

Sounds like the problem is that if you get an M2, you really only have one car in the 3-car lineup that can carry the kid. Upgrade the Jeep to a 4 door wrangler, and then get an M2 or S2000 to get with it. You can have 2 manuals, as long as one of them can fit a car seat.

Ah, got it. So you're talking about RSUs vesting? I would be dumping those the second they vest, paying the quarterly taxes and reinvesting the remainder into something less concentrated. You're probably going to get smacked with a penalty. You have to understand some people can't just openly trade...

1099-DIV gets me every time. It's that too! But the real issue for us has been the 22% withholding on vesting stock. Even if you don't sell shit (stock) just because you vest the gov takes a 22% cut however they are entitled to 37%. This gets trued up at the end of theyear in the highest taxbracket...

To sum things up in a :( manner. I am delaying a car “purchase” of any sorts until the summer mainly due to tons of bills coming due. 1. My fridge shat a brick … $2k 2. Taxes likely extra $40k 3. Prop taxes next month $8k 4. IX needs tires 2k More than 50k set on fire for fucking nothing … like I d...

High COL, water shortages, and grid issues? Sounds awfully similar to another place, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Speechless … but then again. Living up to the stereotype I mean, you don't disagree, right? Austin has a lot of the same issues you're trying to get away from in Califor...

Agreed, is Austin 'CA-Lite' because people from CA have moved there? Typical people trashing places they've never actually been. I would expect different from someone from OH, which is a very popular recipient of this (actually rather nice and most people think it's garbage). In all honesty, fleein...
