Car Talk 6: Best of times and Worst of Times

Curious who says it drives nice, because they are automatically discredited in my mind I don't really remember specifics, earlier in the CX5's life and even until now, I feel like it's regarded as this 'sporty, good driving' alternative to the CRV and Rav and it drives like :poop: Why I like the CR...

Car Talk 6: Best of times and Worst of Times

I struggle with the CX5 as well. The interior is nice but that’s about all that worked for me. I don’t think they drive anything like a hot hatch. Yep, it's wild that all of the car journalists talk about how it drives so well and it just doesn't. It drives like a Rav4. Well Mazda doesn’t seem to h...

Accord hybrid might be the king of lowest cost per mile for new vehicles. Combination of 50+ mpg and really high resale Nah. Insurance is expensive on it and that kills some of the low ownership cost aspect. Also if you buy new you don’t get maintenance included that you would from some other makes...

That’s massive
Yah and that’s like 11 gallons. So $35 in gas to go about 600 miles.

We tracked my son with pen and paper. My daughter with the app. App is easier.

Still using it at 6mo but not relying on it as much anymore.

Late to the game here.

Lisa took Julian camping this weekend. Big gathering of her friends, like 40+ people. I stayed home with the baby, and I'm having an absolute blast getting to be her sole provider. Stuff like this makes me feel so much closer to her.

They lose some weight at the beginning. I saw you said there are feeding issues? What’s up with that? Not latching? Colic? Tongue tie? Feeding issues have pretty much resolved. Came here to ask if that joint was okay Spoke to the renters today. One of our neighbors have a generator. They invited them over to eat dinner. Can’t get ahold of my property manager, but appears their office is under water. Our house is high enough to not be affected as far as I can tell. However...

Remember the good days of orange backlit BMW interiors? I remember. Red ain't bad either. I wonder if Breh's black pearl has red too? https://i.postimg.cc/Qt3Qm78Z/P-20240927-220617.jpg My WRX had red lighting. It was quite nice. A lot better than the white lighting in the Accord and CRV.

2 months with the red rocket already. I do really like this car. If it got totaled I’d replace it with a CUV but as far as cars go this is pretty damn solid. I love how enormous the car is. And it still gets awesome mileage. Still averaging around 55 mpg. I think I’ll order the seat jackers. Still w...

Yeah. The cash outlay on this house has been insanity. If I walk away from the house today, and it sold for $50k more than I paid for it, I’d still be negative $128,000. I should have just rented something. Is there a world where you stay longer to minimize your loss? It’s a good lesson that not al...

I was just thinking about that the other day. My eye sight hasn't changed and I kind of stopped driving at night because frankly I don't have a life after the kid and there is no sidepiece. So the one time I was out after dark, it was pretty damn brutal. 30" of screens in my car + HUD ... + po...

Im thinking of adding a tint to my rearview mirror cause it appears to be like everyone driving with high beams on and it is mad annoying. I might actually install an auto dimming rear view mirror.
