The Garage at Ballz Deep

Got word that my Gladiator is completed and currently in line to have the spray-in bed liner applied. With any luck, it'll be completed and shipped toward the end of the week, then it'll be a matter of how quickly the facility that handles leases can get it to me. :excited: :hubba: Should be there ...

Does the 2.slow have issues maintaining 80? By that I mean, does the trans shift 8>7>6>7>8 a lot or no? The 3.6s was hunting a bit. Glad to hear you guys are liking it a lot. That's a great feeling, then again its an epic 50k+ :jeep: what's not to like. Not that I noticed, but I wasn't paying close...

Yea, JL was better than the JK in almost every single if not every way. I can't think of an aspect that isn't better. Pretty remarkable, really. You mentioned in the review of your rental that the thing manages to feel special and unique which adds significantly to the "funness" of it. That's reall...

The MT gears are tall. You can go into 3rd on the highway to pass people. Partially why I got the auto. But the MT was actually great, far better than in a VAG product. Not as good as hypeR and Fuckus Ugh ..... I still don’t know why I have that unhealthy attraction to that vehicle still. Clutch ha...

One thing on the Mini handling, the steering is fast and turn in is pretty immediate. The rear end is also pretty light and it'll swing around a little bit if you get fresh with it. I felt the rear unloading and getting wiggly during hard braking. A little unnerving but also adds to the fun factor w...

Weight, wheelbase, and probably alignment. Smaller wheels and tires are also more lively feeling, despite generally offering less ultimate grip. I can't find any real specs for MINI stuff like gear or steering ratios. Hell I don't even see tire sizes on their spec sheets. :disgust: I posted gear ra...

No manual RWD brown diesel station wagon no care. I have no idea never driven one. But not dealing with 1 wheel drive or swapping tires with the seasons so no care. No idea why the 235 is an open diff. I've only driven my friend's e92 335ix 6mt in the snow but I remember it was very unwilling to ro...

Yeah it was fully loaded. M235i RWD auto nav cold weather nappy leather etc. I liked the way the interior was arranged and how it felt, etc. More grown up than the Mini, way nicer than the STI, all very visually pleasing. Except the gagues, I didn't like the flat gauge face thing and vastly prefer ...

Oh. I also love the red illumination on the Mini and thought the headlights with LEDs were pretty decent. Highway passing power was great. Accel was fine really just that motor felt unnecessarily neutered up top which I'm sure the JCW addresses. Same motor makes 240 in the BMW makes 189 in the Mini ...

My very minimal experience would lead me to the same conclusion. A Mini Cooper S felt more fun with sharper steering and better handling than the 235i. 235i felt more premium, faster, sounded better, better place to spend time. Both rode a little rough. I tried an automatic 235 without bro mode eng...

I'd like to try one along with a 228i but I'm kind of thinking that if I go with a used German car then I might as well just get an M3/Cayman like I really want, damn the extra running costs. If I could get :tits: to drive a god damn :manuel: then there would be so many more options. Been living to...

Starting to wonder if a #basic McQueen spec 328i or something would be a better pick for me. 2.0T Giulia, S60, etc. Anyone have seat time in both the sedan and the CUV counterpart care to share how they handle bullshit roads? I’d think less weight would crash less but more suspension travel may rid...

McQueen, how does your car handle destroyed roads? Philly’s road conditions are horrific and making me want to off my STI for something automatic and softer. I want something I can throw the bikes or a kayak on the roof and NFG drive around like a brain dead moron and if I hit a rough section of roa...

E90 M3 vs Kiaundai Fortlantra? Seems legit. Same price to buy, same size and form factor, same wheelbase, same type of transmission 7-speed DCT, same super quick ratio steering, same availability of base cloth sport seats and no sunroof and folding rear seats without the rest of the car being super...

This one is also "smart" just with a roller instead of direct drive. I still need to find a cheap rear wheel to put a trainer tire on too and wait for it to ship :doe: so it'll be awhile before I try it. Velomine.com has cheap wheelsets, but for a single rear wheel eBay will probably be best. Could...

Just a quickie (slowie?) through Belmont. 17 miles. PR'd crossbow trail :notbad: New tires are good. I'm up to a 2.3 Nobby Nic on the front and moved the 2.2 NN to the rear. Lots more grip than that conti had. The dirt is good right now brah. Wiss would be prime. Yeah, riding all over is solid righ...
