OT 16: Cloudy with a chance of :wrong:

Went to a movie screening last night. Coming home, got out of the subway and a block later hear "excuse me" in a small voice. Turn around, this girl had followed us out of the subway. Clearly skittish and terrified, she asked for help stating she was homeless, keeping her distance about 6' from us. ...

Do they ? I thought they had 2.0 specific rebates on that thing... it also initially recommended premium where FCA later on clarified that it “can” run on regular but for optimum performance run the shit that 1/2 the country pays 60-90 cents extra for. Also the acceleration and fe figures are in li...

My munchkin came to visit me at work today.
We did a little tour of the office, she got some lollipops, and she back to work with mom now.
That's awesome.

Pasta Update: We are Al Dente. New plugs are in the car and it's running well. A few other service items to do (I had an airbag fault light that came on intermittently but figured it was just a connector - they are replacing it instead) and inspection. They will probably have it another week but no...

I like the E350s. I drove a C350 a long time ago and remember feeling impressed with how a 10 year old neglected car could feel so solid and fluid moving down the road.

Haha and I'm saying I won't be let down. The Alfa is amazingggggg and I hope it's fixed but I'm not the kind of guy that always needs "better" to be happy. There is a large portion that the Alfa leaves on the table 360 days a year that an S4/5 or M340 might only 200 days a year. Slow car fast etc. ...

Some things are learned, some aren't. Finances absolutely are. I have a friend that has horrible credit because he has no clue how it works. Some months he skips his car paymnet because he "can't afford it that month" then doubles up on payments the next month. He claims he's "building his credit" ...

I don’t think I got much more than 370 miles of range in any of the cars I’ve owned. 5 mins refill vs charging spots is the real issue for most, isn’t it? Oh and cost, obviously. Luckily there are chargers where I currently live and work is 40 miles round trip so in theory, a used I3 BEV could work...

Do they teach you not to blow up churches in school ? Some of this is common sense A lot of it is a byproduct of watching your parents make the same disastrous financial mistakes (without knowing that what they're doing is wrong). Example: Impoverished areas with a high teen pregnancy and welfare r...
