I've found that the sway bars need to be torqued well above spec to not be noisy on the C5, could that be the issue? I'm not sure. The best way to describe it is like the sway bar thru hole is too big and every bump the thru bolt floats in that gap between the bolt and hole and clanks when the weig...

This weekend was so exciting! Last weekend we worked in this heat in the fucking sun to get the MR2 engine out. This weekend it was 2 days in the garage with a heat index of 111. OH YAY! My Home Depot fan helped a ton. I would of smothered without it. I'm also fucking exhausted. Engine is on a stand...

What happened? Sitting at a stop sign in a Food Lion parking lot, and an 84 year old women took a left turn right into my car. Claimed she didn't see us, but she was staring blankly right into my windshield so I told the cops something might have been happening with her and they checked her out. No...

Headlight not popping up is usually the rubber stops. Ask me how I know As soon as I can dig up the info for you I will. Basically when the headlight retracts, there's nothing telling it exactly when to stop and it bottoms out on the rubber pads. Rubber pads become worn and the worm gear basically ...

Installed new serpentine belt and tensioner today. The belt had "walked" another rib again, looking at it running, this tensioner is dead still while my old one oscillated so I think the spring was just worn and the belt a little stretched. Hopefully that fixes that. My RH light also stopped poppin...

The real problem with that, is once you choose an industry, it's really hard to break it. Oh you've got 10 years of oil tool design under your belt and want to work in the aerospace industry? Sorry, that means you've got zero aero experience and are green.... We're looking for experience and can hi...

We keep thinking about buying a place. Maybe Corning is the best we can do and we might as well just give up and settle down. Rates are low, prices are down, taxes are "only" $10k a year. Can't afford not to buy. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/24-Hillcrest-Dr-Painted-Post-NY-14870/32582050_zpid...

Brad, your car has shipped, and we'll call as soon as it's ready!

It's electric, did they give you a download link or something to get it?
Or did they put it directly into Dropbox?
Ftp maybe?

Also, most consoles lose money on sales, and they make that up with a high profit margin on accessories, games, and subscriptions. Think about it, $500 for a console where as I just spent $400 on a new up to date video card on my PC. They buy in massive bulk so they do get a huge discount, but their...

The short answer is that you absolutely do not need to spend anywhere near that much on the PC, lower end parts are where the value lies. Displays are a separate animal. The ones for computers tend to have better refresh rates and color accuracy plus you sit much closer to them so there's no reason...

I sold my 2008 GTI for $5,700 I think. I was heartbroken that it went for so low when I paid about $26k total for it new. It'll probably sell relatively quick. FWIW you don't light the gas, you just spray it on with a garden sprayer. It's an effective weed killer that is way cheaper than Round Up or similar. Apparently vinegar and dawn dish soap is effective too, per :bender: I know this is old, but I've done this trying out things to get away from spendi...
