2020 Supra-Why I think it is half assed.

330 HP was :mindblown: in 1991. The Covette didn't crest that until the LT4 in 1996. Hell, the base Corvette didn't go past 350 until 2005 with the C6.
The LT5 ZR-1 made 375 in 1990.

I think GM only caught a little bit of shit for offering the Z06 with an automatic. These aren't the 4L60E days. But I do recall numerous articles complaining about the Supra not getting a manual when that news broke a few months back. GM's 8 speed is garbage. The ZF 8 speed is awesome. And I agree...

I drove a 2018 Sierra with that 8 speed. I hated the way it drove. GM doesn't use ZF 8 speed... it is their own design last I checked? Correct. The GM 8 speed is garbage and problematic, while the ZF 8 speed is nice. I think GM only caught a little bit of shit for offering the Z06 with an automatic...

Haven't heard about the complaint in the Corvette. But also haven't researched it, so :iono:
Yeah, I've found evidence of trouble with that transmission all over.

Not a good sign.

It's just interesting to see how much crap GM gets for offering a slush box in the Corvette, yet Toyota can do it with the ZOMG Supra and it's all amazing. I think GM only caught a little bit of shit for offering the Z06 with an automatic. These aren't the 4L60E days. But I do recall numerous artic...

I haven't updated this in a while because it has been one tumultuous adventure. We had continued with the bodywork: sanding, applying coats, more sanding, and more applying. https://stored-edge.slickpic.com/MTc2MjgzNjlmNGU1OWE,/20190115/MTU3NDQ4MzE0YWY0/p/800/IMG_20181213_210002.jpg https://stored-e...

The real social experiment will be seeing if the Supra owners are more apt to using their turn signals than their BMW counterparts.

It's almost like putting all of your eggs into one basket is a bad plan.

1998: SUVs! We need all teh SUVs!

2008: Fack! Sedans! Errything sedans!

2018: Sumbitch! SUVs! Roll out teh SUVs!

I'd hate for them to figure out that it doesn't need to be a pendulum.

What is out there for sub $40k that's parkable, fast, automatic, has a back seat, and is unique/cool/interesting? Used is fine.

I have been saying for years now that Cadillac needs to have the first fully autonomous vehicles. That's the ultimate luxury and would make them the world standard again. Anything less is a waste of time.

Yeah, I agree with you. Here's my biggest issue: My Z06/Z07 with the aero kit as I ordered it had an MSRP of $103,295. To "upgrade" to a ZR1 and have the same interior, just basically adding the Wing and driveline update the car MSRP is $142,540. Approaching $150k the thing really better be nice in...

I imagine the same thing will happen in China. The US is really the biggest challenge for EV adoption requiri...
