Gberg has a VW problem

I can accept this ranking. I haven't driven a newer WRX, but have always heard good things about them. My only exposure has been punchagoat's but I never road or drove in it. I thought someone on here had one. Didn't he :nuke: it though? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk Ja, drives a :gorf: now

I can accept this ranking. I haven't driven a newer WRX, but have always heard good things about them. My only exposure has been punchagoat's but I never road or drove in it. I was actually struggling between FiST and WRX as most fun. FiST is probably most fun if you're in a city/really tight small...

Another interesting tidbit on the 2020 WRX is that you can get actual waxable brembros on them as part of the performance pack. If I remember right that performance pack was only a pad change a year or so ago. What sucks is that the performance pack is only available on the premium trim. Sent from ...

Fiesta Front pads replaced (EBC Yellows). Brakes bled/flushed. Need tires and an alignment.

You can do bushings without a press, but it’s something I’d rather pay someone to do. It’s generally not to expensive to have it done. Also anything with a torn boot you’ll want to replace sooner rather than later. The boot themselves generally aren’t serviceable so you’ll need to replace the ballpo...

As far as i know, mass market cash cows aside, Porsche does engineer their SUV’s and Sedans to have the same character as their sports car counterparts. :notwrong: but physics still exists. :dat: They handle better than they should, they do not handle better than a smaller vehicle designed to also ...

On a slow car, I think I still prefer to row my own, but a well tuned auto on a quick car like the SS or Mustang doesn’t hurt the experience IMO

Technically DSG and PDK are dual clutch. Automated manual indicates a single clutch where an actuator engages and disengages the clutch. Note: this is largely semantics, and I don't believe automated manuals (as described above) exist in the automotive world. Toyota had one called SMT on the MR2 Sp...

looks like you gotta select on lot of different dates, which is very time consuming and possibru :rage: at the same time to dig in. That's why I'd try and call and ask if they have any SS's at all. If they do, great, then get into discussions of availability and pricing. :dat: Many of the moostangs...

Searching for Porsches, filtering on Manual trans and seeing PDKs makes me :triggered:. That whole discussion, on the MK5 and MK6 boards, of DSG's actually being automated manuals so you can call them manual transmissions was epic retard. It shifts itself it's therefore an automatic you fucking dol...

Sheet metal, steering (for the worse... the BMW steering feels more direct), suspension (the Supra is a super neutrally balanced car), diff and trans tuning, and several hundred million dollars to fund the development. BMW can thank Toyota for the Z4. I’ve driven both. They may be the same chassis ...

These are exhaust, intake, and :tuna: away from GT350 power levels.
Unless I intended on tracking one, I don’t know why I’d need that kinda powah.

Who here has driven a Q50? Thoughts?

I rode in my boss’s G37 today and it was surprisingly not bad over shit roads.
Had a Q50 red s a couple years ago. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Makes good noises. Handles well enough. Fairly comfortable ride on the highway.

It’s been a quiet off-season, although admittedly there’s a couple things that need addressed (fiesta tires and brakes, RVF forks, body work, etc). The Tuono should’ve needed nothing other than tires, but admittedly I’ve never been super comfortable with the stock handlebar - it doesn’t have enough ...

Does it matter? Considering Zil said "Reported for an actually fast rental car" and not "reported for actually driving a rental car fast", it does matter. There have been a handful of fast rental cars rented by DFD over the last year. Well it handily outran a moostang, but I never met the driver, s...
