OEMs have different standards and timelines for durability and validation. There's a reason I don't recommend any of my family buy an FCA product (I don't even push them here). I was also a bit relieved to get rid of the JL and all it's first model year hybrid complexity stuff that's probably going...

Oh interesting! Thanks for trying today anyways! I figured it automatically reset at midnight every day.
Oh dude, voted! I just had to wait for the 24hrs to pass. I assumed a midnight reset too, but whatever.

The engines themselves will still run forever, it's all the .gov required emissions BS that fails...and a lot of that stuff was rushed because regulations increased hot and heavy on them. Hence the reliability issues. Major sham, the .gov literally ruined these. Which I think was intentional to pus...

Diesel had so much promise, and was on the way to become a viable bridge to electrification. Then the dieselgate freakout happened, people got scared, the .gov had to prove they do something, and now diesels are dead. It's very sad because I believe there's a lot of opportunity left to be tapped, b...

Wife saw a newer Clubman the other day and really liked it. I think she's getting into the idea of one, which is :exciting: for me. Just need to find one to drive to see if it's as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It's our perfect car, even if it isn't the most engaging to drive. Still better th...

I've driven them many times. The have great torque, but they're really winded on the highway. Passing isn't fun, high speed isn't fun. Cruising around 75-80 is fine, and the fuel economy is great. I've never towed with one, but I'm sure it would be great. Biggest issue with them is the same as any ...

ZR2 is probably Dplac’s best option. Yea I'd probably agree. I am curious about that diesel too... Diesel ZR2. Fixes the low end issues plaguing all the V6 mid sizers. 369 lb-ft of torque @ 2,000 rpm The only number that matters. Has anyone driven one? I've driven them many times. The have great to...

I'm actually thinking that I should go sit in a Tacoma with the power seats knowing they're improved. I've never considered a Tacoma because of the seating, but if that's fixed it's on my radar. Wife wants one bad for some reason, the resale is appealing, and the size is right. An extended cab long...

Well, yesterday was an eventful day. Because I'm an idiot and like lighting money on fire, I decided to upgrade the audio in the boat. We'll see how much we use the boat, but I'm hopeful. :tits: blasted the propeller backing the boat out of the launch yesterday, it's pretty chewed up. Aunt gave us a backup, so I'll be swapping that soon. Yay. :derp: If it's not crubs and fents it's chewing up props. Seriously. Thankfully the...

If you don't want a roof box, a three row or minivan is it for 2 kids + :doge: life. With 3 kids + 2 small dogs the Atlas is loaded to the gills with crap stowed between the seats and up to the roof even for just a weekend trip to see the grandparents. It's got one. The place we bought the hoist from is going to install it, they just want the boat on the hoist first so they can make sure the cover is centered and it makes it easier to install. Will be nice to not have to cover the boat all the time. :word: So, has all the hassle been worth it now...
