That’s where I grew up. Right next to it in California city. I worked at EAFB for several years as a DoD contractor. He’ll want to live in Rosamond or on the west side of Lancaster in the Quartz Hill area for nicer homes/neighborhoods. He could go further south to Palmdale, but might as well keep t...

Ugh man, rough freakin' day... at least it's all up hill from here I guess? I mean. I would LOVE to be able to use my own fucking car 😂 My boss was actually very cool about it, and said he was expecting me to find a different job since the beginning. He told me I can work two weeks or just finish t...

Ty. Sorry didn’t ping you but you had that incident with Stuart’s wife + we’ve been sort of beat with all the driving and ended up staying in the hotels a bit more.
No worries dude! We’ll make it happen one day :dock:

Anyways. Taking it to my shop on Friday, so wells ee what their estimate comes in at. Found a rear OEM Mopar bumper that I think will match my front bumper nicely, so I’ll talk to them then about upgrading that. https://www.quadratec.com/products/12112_2110_07.htm?gclid=CjwKCAjwnPOEBhA0EiwA609ReaC8q...

I can already tell this is going to be annoying.. they want me to take the Jeep to my shop for another visual inspection to get a better estimate, then they expect my shop to order all needed parts based on that; once the parts are in and work can begin, they’ll authorize a rental car for me and I c...

The General’s online estimate from the pics I submitted came back at $485  they ignored stuff like my spare wheel being scuffed up.. will be interesting to see how much they fight whatever the actual estimate when it gets to a shop is. Side note, I have coverage under my insurance for a rental...

Your Jeep looks basically unscathed. It looks like it, but the swing gate is definitely fucked up. Handle pops around when trying to open it now, and from the side view you can see that it’s all wavy/dented. But yeah, Jeep took the hit like a champ. Not expecting any damages that I can’t see already.

I feel generally fine. Minor headache, we’ll see if that turns into anything tomorrow. Woman at The General that I spoke with was nice enough. Said I could take it to one of their partner shops to have repairs done and they’d be guaranteed for the rest of my ownership, or I could take it to any sho...

Well, I ended up joining Planet Fitness for now. It's not the best gym, but there is one right by my office (perfect for showering after a bike commute), another two miles from my house, it's cost effective and beats what I have at home. We shall see how I feel about it over time. This morning I we...
