Re: Bender's pessimistic optimism

I believe the word used was let down not different. Read :mahtroy: motherfucker :mahtroy: Haha and I'm saying I won't be let down. The Alfa is amazingggggg and I hope it's fixed but I'm not the kind of guy that always needs "better" to be happy. There is a large portion that the Alfa leaves on the ...

Ballz. I have a giant zit on my upper eyelid that is pissing me off and putting pressure on my damn eyeball. It's even making my vision blurry sometimes. :mahtroy: luck.

Car Talk 4: Now with more carpocalypse!

There is nothing sporty about that. Put that drivetrain in the Supra/86 or the IS/RC cars... Hell put it in the Prius itself with some bigger sway bars and it'd be interesting. A Prius Sport like that could be down in the 6.x 0-60 range and still get 45 mpg on 87. See, this kind of hybrid drivetrai...

Re: Car Talk 4: Now with more carpocalypse!

Of course I didn't buy a hybrid either, but that's a different issue. I don't know if there even are any sporty AWD hybrids under $50k or so yet. The 330e is RWD and reviews as worse to drive and really no more efficient than a regular 330i, for example. Rav 4 hybrid seems to do the trick There is ...

No charging up here AND the cost of electricity is higher than the cost of gas in a decently efficient hybrid.

:disgust: Have you considered getting a car that you actually like for daily stuff and only using a :truk: for :truk: stuff? That's all we ever did growing up and how my dad still does it. The big rig only gets driven when it's actually needed. Yes...and it's still a consideration. Between the Volt...

SxS goes in the useless bed. Most don't fit even in a full size bed. SxS's are basically full vehicles at this point. :disgust: Have you considered getting a car that you actually like for daily stuff and only using a :truk: for :truk: stuff? Re: Jeeponomics 101: Eternal tirekicking for the deal-less Jeep

Yeah, but a Ram is yuuuuuuuuge. I just don't like the size of the fullsizers. They're massive. :dat: Plus storing an additional trailer and a side by side, which can't be driven on public roads. I don't see Dplac daisy-chaining trailers to go off-roading and camping on the same trip either. SxS goe...

Re: Car Talk 4: Now with more carpocalypse!

See that would do wonders for me in a JL if it doesn’t compromise performance, but I don’t see how it wouldn’t. That’s a lot of shit to stuff under that frame. 50-75 miles is how much I and 90 % of the country drive daily. 25-50 is a crapshoot, yes I have read the studies that say otherwise but I t...

Re: Car Talk 4: Now with more carpocalypse!

I don’t like the fact that a plug in adds 500-700lbs, $3000-5000 a lot of complexity and very little actual benefit with a shitty 25-50mile Range. At that point you might as well go electric or go home. I would be ok with a 75-100 plug in range but that won’t happen. It seems like a seriously half ...
