Good crêpes are awesome. I don't know if I've ever had a good one in the US.

Re: Obligatory C5 Thread

I want an 09-13 Z51 with a 4.8 crank and shorter final drive plus half of the shit that I did to my C5Z. Clear roof, 7500 RPM V8 noises, pretty much as good as it gets in a front engine car. Very few people actually follow through with destroking an engine because the internet talks them out of it ...

Re: Obligatory C5 Thread

The widebody CS is :notbad: But as a whole, yeah, they're just too fucking busy. The C8 suffers from it too. I'm not in-love with the design language. I really can't get into the C8. I respect what it is and that GM made it happen, but overall it's just very meh to me. I love it in the yellow. Base...

Re: Obligatory C5 Thread

You can have a fun car that's not a hassle if it's built like a regular fucking car instead of chasing lap times. My car, at full stock ride height, is totally fine over garbage roads. I drove it yesterday on random country dirt and gravel roads in search of an apple orchard with cider and donuts. ...

It has 8 auto and that’s fine. That dct was/is shit for a daily
It's not supposed to be fine. It's the ultimate driving machine.

Re: Dem bicicletas dos, doe.

Ordered some Fizik X5 artica winter shoes on sale for "only" $180. :troywax: Still trying to decide on jackets, and I'll probably need better gloves too. At this point I have significantly more money in clothing than the bike itself. :gay: I'm leaning toward the castelli perfetto ros jacket, but whe...

Maybe Switzerland?
Switzerland actually has a very high gun ownership rate.
Aren't men issued rifles and corkscrews there?

Re: Dem bicicletas dos, doe.

I officially hate you. Not just you, but everyone else who can ride a fucking bicycle for an hour. Fuckers. Doctors I've talked to so far basically say to quit. Fuck them too. I'm not crippled, I should be able to do this shit. James Fucking May rides a Giant TCR race bike. I'm 34 years old and 140 ...

Re: Obligatory C5 Thread

Most of the people who want something similar to what I want have simply given up on sportiness and bought a :jeep: wrangler. I need at least base Corolla levels of ride, handling and responsiveness :doe: What I do not need or even want is 500+ hp or sub-8-minute nurburgring times. These days, ther...

Re: Obligatory C5 Thread

IIRC it's like a 5.4, same size pistons just de-stroked significantly. I'd need to look at the ratios again but I might not even want a C6Z51 trans since the gears are further apart just like the C5Z06. I definitely wouldn't want the heavy Z51 brakes, would 5/7 buy the same Wilwood package I had on...

Re: OT 19: Masks On, Clothes Off, Right Hand Left Titty

In order for owners to actually be held liable, though, the guns need to be registered... therefore why bother with insurance when there's effectively no liability? I have no conceptual issue with registration either. My idea would be: 1) take class to be able to buy gun 2) pass background check 3)...

Anything beyond a 1789-era musket should require a license.
And registration.

Ugh, so after feeling mostly OK with riding 50-60 minutes a day 5-6 days a week for a couple of weeks I decided to try 80some minutes today at a lower intensity... Neck is fucking sore again for the first time in weeks from riding fucking 20 miles at 14 miles per hour. Apparently I may never be able...

I'll make a more interesting statement here. The data is clearly telling that Muslim Majority countries have far lower suicide rates than the western/Judochristian and Atheist nations. Seems like we need to learn a thing or two from them. Don't kill yourself unless you're taking multiple infidels w...

OT 19: Masks On, Clothes Off, Right Hand Left Titty

Let's go for what we are really after... Let's say waiting periods reduced gun suicides by 30% (just a random number, for sake of discussion). That would save about 7,000 american lives a year and all it would require is waiting 3 days for any firearm purchase. Would you support that? If not, why n...

I'm :wrong: but I haven't really seen anything worth deleting posts or punishing people IMO. The mere process of creating detailed rules would likely cause just as much discontent as is already present. People (yes usually it's me) go :fullretard: occasionally, then they calm down or time themselve...

OT 19: Masks On, Clothes Off, Right Hand Left Titty

This is close to the core issue of how we talk about the subject. If we all had baseline facts to start with it would be much easier to agree on how to both preserve that freedom and ensure safety. Yup. It's "interesting" how the ATF (I think it's the ATF, or maybe it's the FDA?) is prevented from ...

OT 19: Masks On, Clothes Off, Right Hand Left Titty

One of the biggest issue with crime statistics is that they "feel like they should make sense" and most decidedly do not. The discussion we had today would be an entire semester in a master's program, so we didn't even scratch the surface. I thought they made plenty of sense? People only tend to fe...
