A thing was done. :boxodicks: acquisition complete. I'm too lazy to read 300 pages, how is a bike a box? A couple years back, I ordered an Orbea Occam AM from a bike shop on the left coast. Fantastic deal from an apparently reputable shop. Six weeks later, the “in stock” bike still hadn’t shipped. ...

Which is what's so frustrating about finding :boxodicks: for Wifey. Nowhere has bikes. I've had several stores tell me the only way to ride something they don't have is to pay $100 to demo a bike and they'll have a rep bring one in within 5-10 days. Some shops have offered me a good discount on the...

Lower end Trek and Giant stuff should be in the 3 figures. For your purposes, seems adequate. :iono: OR Test ride stuff at the bike shop, find one you like and get the geometry chart online. Then try to find the closest thing to it on Bikesdirect. I had my bike custom build based off of geometry on...

Shit, I'd probably need to pick up some thru-axle adapters... For the Liv? It'd be coming to you with a QR fork and the standard non tubeless wheels for $500. If you want all the goodies on it (120mm Fox 32 Performance, Fox DPS shock, Stan's wheels and full SLX drivetrain/brakes), it'd be $1k. I'd ...

If anyone is interested in Wifey's old bike... Most bike shops are doing trade-in's now with Bicycle Blue Book, it seems. Every bike shop I've talked to is in the program. Their system can't account for upgraded components, so I'm basically getting $500 for the bike. I'm going to put the bike back t...

South Mountain Cycles in Emmaus. Saucon have one in Medium but I think it's a bit big for her. Owner of the store is great... was telling me they've grown so much they just moved into a 13k sq/ft store and opened a cafe, and just got an OK to start serving beer and food later this summer. I don't mi...

Looks like today is :boxodicks: day for the wife. I found an Intrigue Advanced 2 in stock, in small, and caught the owner of the bike shop on the phone. Seems like an awesome guy and great shop. Said he would honor the $3200 quote I got for the $3900 MSRP I was quoted at my LBS, who would only order...

No demos scheduled for the rest of the year. I've called DBW, Village Velo/Giant in Conshohocken, Giant/Brandywine Bikes in DE and Saucon Valley Bikes in Bethlehem. Saucon have a Medium Intrigue Advanced 2 for $3885, and would sell me the bike for $3200... but I think it's a touch too big for her, ...

2 problems with these... the Liv versions actually have different geometry compared to the same size Giant frames, unlike Santa Cruz/Juliana that just use shorter cranks, stems and bars and paint the frames pink. Also, a small Trance isn't in stock anywhere either to do this. Where/when is the next...

And Johnny thought test riding men's bikes was tough. :notsure: I like it. But if raceseng ever put out something a bit nicer that's leather wrapped, I'd be all over it. The BFI knobs are nice too but have their logo on them. :disappoint: Are you going to get the dieselgeek shifter? That's my worry Raceseng is all I'd get and they are going to be a bi...

So I bought some useless junk recently...

Today I’ve bought a smart door lock and door handle, 3 pairs of dress pants, 12 quarts of oil and two filters, a cabin filter, an air purifier, another Qi phone charger for my desk, a handful of USB C cords for the iPad, and a chest mount for my GoPro to replace the one I broke.

Finally finishing the last touches on our basement. Which doesn't sound exciting because it's not but it'll be a huge relief to have done. I heard that casinos were changing odds on black jack to 6/5? Used to be bet 100 get 150 on black and now it's win 120. I'm not a gambler but that sounds fuckin...

In all seriousness, if you decide to trade this to TPC or a similar thing and you'd consider a cash+trade for the wheels, let me know... I'd throw a few hundies plus a set of DT Swiss M1900 wheels to put on it before you send it away.

I lean a little bit right and with my foot fully extended I can touch and stay on the saddle. Or track stand it. Until I fall over at least.
