Car Talk 5: The Juice is Loose!
:bruh: Asked my SA specifically about this. He told me it wouldn't work in my car. It's in my thread. :iono: a 2019-21 golf is listed as fitting on the VW website. So someone fucked up. It also lists the GTI and Golf Alltrack when I open the link. :notsure: Methinks the SA needs a reboot. https://w...

I run the Ramblers in 38C on the Sacklist and love them. Roll great on pavement and gravel, and hold their own on the trail. I've run them for UnPAved twice now. My metric on Wednesday was with the Ramblers mounted up, zero dirt, all pavement, some slush, lots of water. Rode great. Yeah. I do a lot...

Borrowed a friend’s air can. Took 3 tries but eventually got that tire seated. Don’t think I’m going to keep these Maxxis Ramblers long, tread pattern looks weak. But will see, they should theoretically roll a bit faster. I run the Ramblers in 38C on the Sacklist and love them. Roll great on paveme...

everything’s Chinese, man. These things are “made”/sold by DV8 off-road, who seem to offer some quality products. The quality is otherwise pretty good with these and the fit and finish is on par with the OEM light, it just looks like some transportation damage got the better of them... not the firs...

Believe it or not, this omission was one of the things about my Civic that made me seek out a different car...... I ended up with the GTI and that is how I know y'all...... :science: :amaze: :math: I do believe it! It :triggered: me so much that VW omitted such an undoubtedly cheap, yet extremely u...

Yes you can’t beat the C5 for performance for the $ but that’s like saying you will only drink popov vodka to get drunk because it’s the cheapest drunk per $ spent. I mean... the math doesn't lie, as long as you're getting the real Popov and not the 50% water stuff. My uncle made that mistake...

I originally thought that a :gorf: would be next for me... and if the right deal comes along it still may... but my son has brought a few home and frankly the AWD actually takes quite a bit of the excitement and rawness out of the equation versus a stage 1 tuna on a :mk6: At this point I may just o...

My neighbors jokingly asked me today if I was a drug dealer, as they complimented the truck when wifey got home. “Isn’t this like the 8th car you’ve had since we moved in? Are you sure you’re not a coke dealer or something?” “Worse. I work in the car business, remember?” They moved in just over 4 y...

I’m actually going to be jumping into the live 45 minute class with Alex and Tunde at 1:30 if anyone wants to play bikes. Next time mang, would be fun. :like: Not an easy class, legs still a little heavy from Wednesday’s ride because I was lazy and didn’t do any kind of active recovery. But good en...

I’m really curious on your thoughts for the DV8 headlights. Let me know, because I may grab a pair too. Will do. They’re out for delivery. Apparently a 30 minute install including running the wire for the DRL/halo. Instead of tapping into the wiring harnesses, I’m going to run a wire to the fuse pa...

I'd totally rock a base Cayman.
