Re: OT 18: Anti-Social Distancing

I am now 4 weeks after surgery and 11 days since the cast came off and stitches out. Had my second full OT/PT session today. Progress has been very slow. I have a very basic set of exercises I have to do 4-6 times a day to try and break up the stiffness and work on range of motion. In the last week...

Got bad news from the insurance bros on Monday. Bike actually had 6K in damages. :mindblown: So it'll be a total loss. Won't be replacing it with another two wheeler directly. On the hunt for a miata or something else fun I believe. The teen of the house starts driving next year, so having a 3rd ca...

Car Talk 5: The Juice is Loose!

:iono: we top down like twice a week at least and I see people with tops off all the time... I think it’s a key feature and huge part of what makes the cars so fun. We've got the tops off ours constantly, but I notice that many others don't, which I can't understand. Dat. Would be topless at every ...

Exactly, so why is everyone afraid to touch a box from Amazon/Fedex/UPS? For the record though, I don't trust Fauci at all. The "experts" that spout information early to only retract their statements to change course over and over again don't get much credit from me. To them, it lives on ...

Got started on some of the home improvement stuff we've been putting off for a while now. Started painting the porch posts and railings since we've only had the paint in the basement for like a years now. https://i.postimg.cc/1ns74mMW/96-CEF348-0-C1-A-4-E41-9-FC5-BE359-FAC07-B1.jpg https://i.postimg...

A covid pole right up the nose

I've had a handful of field providers that I work directly with who have had it, no deaths thankfully.

No one at work directly, but we've got a fella in quarantine right now who was diagnosed with a respiratory infection, dunno if he got tested :doe:

I wouldn't rule it out, but I think the bars and breweries thing is that they're realizing people can't handle themselves when they're intoxicated.

Jeeponomics 201: Toledo Griff

(Reuters) - In the midst of a raging pandemic, Belal Bilto, 26, a sales executive and a Manhattan resident bought a midsize pickup Jeep Gladiator this month for just over $48,000, lured by a discount of about $5,000 on the list price and a seven-year, no-interest loan. Submitted a request for a refund for our season passes to Hersheypark this year. Sad about it, but definitely the right call I'm sure. I'm doubtful they'll be able to make it operating through the month of July before the state shuts them down.

Even restaurants here are booming and companies can't hire for positions. We have like 60 open positions that we can't fill. Nobody wants $30-40K/year jobs when :thanks...

There is absolutely no way I am downloading a 3rd party Chinese brogrammer app to access my government benefits and give them my social security number to do so.

uc.pa.gov works just fine for me.
The Chinese and the Russians have access to that, too. What’s the difference?

Premium is priced 30% higher and gas prices have creeped up a lot since the lowest point, we are probably half way between the low point and peak. It's probably on par with US pricing (of 3.43USD/gal for 91) but it hurts more since the exchange rate dropped to 0.7... so it feels like $4.90/gal to t...
