Seems like 1st/2nd gen vipers are stuck in the 40s, they have been there for the last decade. :butwhy:
Reliable.
Fast.
More or less easy to work on.
Eye catching
Rare.

I don't see a problem.

Prowler: These actually look like they went DOWN in value over the last decade: They used to be in the 40s
Reliable
Eye catching
Easy to work on
Rare

:butwhy: Yes its not fast or air cooled... and it doesn't have badge stigma but they are generally great cars.
Yes this one has some :mahtroy: ram but they can be unfucked for not much money.

I have always found the "double bubble" GTS Viper coupe to be very attractive, Cobra Daytonaesque. The convertible? Hell no.
NO on the prowler. Better off to just get a really nice hot rod. Exposed wheels and corporate V6? NO man.

And it's got a base mini cooper I3... I do like it a fair amount. :hubba: I think it is still relatively new... too bad it is an immensely complicated vehicle.

It looks awesome, is quick enough, efficient-ish, and "affordable" to mere millionaires now. I would at least test drive one in your position.

It was on my short list, but I am shying away due to the complixity of all the various components. I'd rather modern M3/M2 for the same price or less. But yea they won't come with the billionaire doors.

1994-1996 Impala SS.

Easy to work on
Drives great
Fairly rare

Has been 4-12k for an abused model and 20-30k for a cream puff for 20 years now.

WJ Jeeps:
You get 2 solid axles
Great ride quality
0-60 in well under 7 seconds.
It is the Jeep that everyone needs but no one buys. They are relatively reliable also. Given how a POS XJ is worth 10k now this is completely under-valued IMO.

Having owned one for 6 years, I really really liked mine and I should have never sold it. For $6500 5 years ago.

Mitsubishi 3000 GT some models may command a premium but they always have:

I’ve always liked these.

And the Stealth... they have the “redheaded stepchild” vibe to them.

this is the car that got me into cars... I had 2 of them!
1993-1998 Lincoln Mark 8
4.6 DOHC V8 with 280-290hp that later on went into the mach 1, first new gen cobra and then got supercharged for the 03-04 cobra
Adjustable air suspension
First ever HID lights in an American vehicle
Power everything
Power steering column which was pretty new for the 90s
On board computer
Giant rear light bar that goes off quicker than incadecents
Fully independent front and rear suspension using full aluminum components
Last great lincoln!

These were $5000-10000 10 years ago and 20 years ago!

I've looked on and off for a Stealth GT TT for a while. They're all beat AF or :waxer: it's sad.

I :member: when the Eclipse first dropped, I wanted one so bad and leases were reasonable in NE NJ..... I test drove a :manuel: and loved it but but I had like zero credit built up at that age....

Then the 3000GT/Stealth hit and I really loved the way they looked....there was just something so fresh and exciting about those early 90s Mitsu's...

I don't understand why these don't take off. They're everything everyone claims to want in an SUV, yet they're almost entirely overlooked. They look cool, have decent interiors (especially for the time), and are reliable as you said. They should be skyrocketing right now, but aren't. This blue one is awesome.

Just make sure the recall to protect the fuel tanks from exploding is done. :like:

Why did you own two of them?
Because I had a gen 1 from 1996 then sold it reluctantly as it was my first car and I thoroughly abused it for 5 years, then I got a creampuff Gen 2 with 43k miles that still smelled new.

I then had that for 3 years and decided to get a C5 Corvette after because reasons.

We ridiculed a kid mercilessly in high school who inherited his grandfather's Lincoln. Thing was mint, and in hindsight completely undeserving of ridicule. One day he totaled it and bought a $1k Porsche 924 POS and I think we ridiculed him more for that purchase. In an attempt to be cool, he cut off the muffler and strapped a cherry bomb on the back, it sounded horrific as he revved around on people, yet he'd still brag to girls that he had a Pooorshaaa. One day, I convinced him to do a burnout contest with me in my S-10. I was the reigning champ of clutch dump burn outs, while he clearly hadn't done a burnout before. He fried the clutch to the point where the car wouldn't move while choking on the smoke I managed to emit from my BFG AT's (white letters out of course). We left it in the middle of the high school parking lot because he didn't want to pay to have it towed. The school called his dad who called a tow truck and had the car towed straight to the junkyard. He had to take the bus after that. :lolol:

I digress, it's just funny how things chance because now I'd be :fuckyeah: to have that Lincoln.
