We bought ourselves a bit more time, but we may need to revisit the discussion of overall next steps. Server errors persist, none of us have the time or expertise to trouble shoot or keep the backend up to do date, so it's probably only a matter of time until we have some sort of catastrophic failure that takes this entire thing down. Not to be
but I deal with this at work all the time, and contingency plans are a good idea.
Thoughts?

I was thinking about this. I still think Discord is a great platform, I just prefer the forum and we're all here so it didn't really take off.
I believe if one person paid for a subscription with them, you can also upload custom emojis, which I find critical
To be honest though, I don't see it ever really happening until we're forced out of here. I should still be able to email everyone even if this shits the bed and that could get people there. Additionally I think most people have my cell?

A few buddies and I used to have a small forum space we used. The platform it was based on was built by one of their friends. I can ask about that and we could create a whole new space with this same layout of different subtopics.

I also ran a forum back in the day so I am sure i could re-learn this shit. The emojis might be the toughest part

Lets keep dfd together. Keep it civilized and get along, not everyone may not agree with each other but we can respect opinions, and at times thats what makes this forum fun. Sad that a few of us are no longer with us and I'm going to get less workload soon enough which will make more time on dfd (changing jobs) and throw my turkish tantrums and other shenanigans lolll

The custom emojis are pretty key. They are fun to use.
