These days, writers are paid by the article, and next to nothing for each one. They're rewarded by quantity over quality, which is
on so many levels. Also why I trust very little that I read. There's no way anyone can take the time to properly fact check things with how quickly "articles" are crapped out.

A step above simply proofreading is the Grammarly software package that does it for them. $100/year and totally worth it. My wife has it loaded on her computer and is a game changer for her report writing. 5/7 recommend for a journalist that doesn't know how to write.

Not that it matters. A huge number of "domestic" full size pickups are made in Mexico too. I'm surprised there hasn't been more uproar about that.
