A DFD Public Coronavirus Announcement

To all:
This is not the time to panic. What we all need to do, is keep calm and
carry on... with some adjustments.
Adjustments you say? Well, perhaps you're not a big fan of washing your
hands. Perhaps you have a bad habit of digging for gold right after shaking
someone's hand. Perhaps you lick door handles because they're a delicious
mix of salty and sweet. Or, perhaps you're still planning on jumping ass
first into the lube pit at the downtown swinger's club tonight.
Regardless of our bad habits or questionable plans, it's our responsibility
to make the necessary changes to keep ourselves and our loved ones healthy
and safe. Uncertain times do lie ahead, that's something we can say with
certainty. Stop shaking hands. Keep your hands clean, sanitized, and away
from your face. Stop fingerblasting your nostrils. Keep your tongue off of
unsanitary surfaces. Minimize or eliminate social interaction, especially
in large groups.
This doesn't mean you need to lose your minds and head directly to Wal-Mart
to blow your whole life wad on a lifetime supply of hand sanitizer and
toilet paper. Don't act a fool. Also, don't do the opposite; this is not
the time to bury your head in the sand and act like nothing is going on.
If you're healthy and able of mind and body, what you need to do is keep
calm and make some changes to your daily routines. If you can work from
home, do it. If you have family and friends who are immunocompromised,
reach out to them and make sure they're OK and have everything they need.
If you have friends and family that are panicking, please be the voice of
reason for them. We have the technology to do many things in relative
isolation should the need arise, and it's time to take advantage of that.
Finally, if you feel sick, STAY HOME.
And if you find yourself exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 ( see here ),
follow these steps:

Stay healthy out there, comrades.
