Tsx
+hids
+better throttle response
+slightly better average mpg (+1) or so but worse on the freeway
+backup camera
+more direct steering even though it’s eps

E350
+ better stereo (even though tsx has updated stereo)
+ bigger backseat
+ better ride
+ 2 gears and a far smoother trans
+ smoother engine that has far more low end torque
+ less nvh
+ better brakes
+ better paint quality
+ better interior quality with less wear
+ memory and power drives seat
+ memory mirrors/wheel
+ better handling as the tsx plows like a pig

Both cars are almost the same age and the mb has slightly lower miles 87 vs 120.
MSRP to current value comparison?
I think the tsx was around 38 mb was 56. They are both around 10 now … +~2k

My woman paid 28k otd just about 10 years ago when it was 2 years old.

Do you ever pull up to a c class and think you're better than them? When I pull up to a MKIV I feel like king dubber.

 not really. But I do feel like I'm "better" than someone who doesn't take care of their car and it looks like absolute shit.

Your car could only be more gangster if it was a gold 1971 Eldorado driven by Ray Liotta himself, I like it better then the new one your buddy is driving.

Nice, eh!

I saw a previous gen on the road this week and it has even greater appeal for some weird reason. The curved but simple lines and round headlights are :chefkiss:

My neighbor who :plac: every 90 days or so actually has a silver E350 as the flavor of the week right now, same gen as Max. They are a great shape and design, but his is sadly not Max spec from a condition perspective.

:dat: my buddy stopped by. I helped him buy that one. It was a 2016 with 80k miles back in 2019. He now has 155k miles on it. He also requested a high mileage emblem from mb which is coming soon. You can get one for 250k, 500k, 750k kilometers.

Haha yea the car is :notbad: I worked on the other E350. I did the plugs on it and saved my buddy $700 in doing so. That and the fact that he is a total :derp: and treats his car like absolute shit… (blew out 3 tires and drove on his rims) yet it has lasted from 80000>155000 with no problems but an ignition coil made me take a strong look at these.

My friend with a car tuning shop has your friend's generation of E class as his shop car. He throws me the keys to it every time I visit, for FREE (just pay gas). It's an amazing car. I love the NFG/comfort of the car.

Ya that’s kind of the main appeal. Where it all falls apart is servicing and depreciation when new. Otherwise they are great vehicles.

But these few years/gens starting with yours and ending with your friend is when they were most bulletproof.

I ordered new oem rear brakes and a new blower motor. As mine makes noise occasionally which is unacceptable.

The rear brakes are at least 50% but they make a decent amount of noise once they get warm. Weird.
FCP Euro was super reasonable for both

So ... I got a bit of a problem. The highly rated "indy" shop may have fucked me... and I am :notsure: how to go about it...

This brake fluid does not look changed to me... shouldn't it be clear?

I would feel fucked. Fresh brake fluid is pale yellow.

Since this is the new E350 forum, I need to get the transmission fluid changed in mine..........and to be honest it looks like a bit of a fucking mess. Ordering the right parts is easy, I am now going to get a quote from my Chevy dude, who is multi-make talented, and the :dillerman:
