31, live in Ohio. Used to work in the auto industry (tier 1 interior supplier, and then worked for Bilstein). Got burned out on the hours, work in pharma now for an easier life.
Currently have an '01 S2000 and '18 Accord 2.0t auto. Might do an Exocet build at some point, so I figured I'd join in case I have fun content to contribute in the future.

Yea, it is.
Ask yourself, how much do I realllyyy like working on cars? A kit car is far from a weekend project. I had 2. one that i got 60-70% done before I bailed on it to a 'finished' product that had to have the engine pulled three times and about 600 bucks of custom axle shaft parts made.
They are , they are fun, they are alot of work. Buy a motorcycle instead, that way you are at least not strapped into the thing that might kill you

I like the idea of an open wheel, ladder frame, street legal go kart. If I could find one completed to my satisfaction for sale, I’d just jump on that instead.
