Salvage title? 2WD? I haven't seen a single Toyota truck worth buying for 4500.golftdibrad1 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 09, 2022 6:12 am 15k trucks my achin ass. Sure this one needs a repair and TLC, but 10-15k it is not.

Its 4wd no mention of title status but other than the issues mentioned and the clear oxidization it looked...like a reasonably clean 20+ year old truck.Detroit wrote: ↑Fri Sep 09, 2022 9:07 amSalvage title? 2WD? It looks very clean. The lift is a little but overall this thing is promising. I legit haven't seen a Toyota truck this clean for this cheap in my searches in Michigan, Colorado, and Arizona. Perhaps Tennessee is the place to buy these trucks for cheap? Rust wouldn't be a concern.golftdibrad1 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 09, 2022 9:31 amIts 4wd no mention of title status but other than the issues mentioned and the clear oxidization it looked...like a reasonably clean 20+ year old truck.

No. He has a daughter who lives with him, but she's like 20, probably suits them both that he's gone a lot.

My Toyota has my ideal Tacoma coming in...
https://www.serratoyotatraversecity.com ... 5nt096772/
Loaded up with a bunch of accy's but still, the wants for a long bed Taco are real. Maybe I should consider flipping the S10 before the market falls out...

I don’t like that price… but I do understand the taco wants. I’m still hunting for a 46-48k trd pro. And it looks like 23s are now shipping but unfortunately they are in orange … and I have yet to see an orange taco… about thatDetroit wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 11:06 am My Toyota has my ideal Tacoma coming in...

I don't like the price either, the fucker is loaded with accys I don't want. BUT, it's the only way to get a long bed and AG is gone for 23 so this is it. I probably won't do anything due to I haven't driven the S10 in a few weeks now. Would be an epic waste for a new vehicle to sit there like that.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 11:09 amI don’t like that price… but I do understand the taco wants. I don't like the 23 Whorange, and I love whorange. It's too red to be whorange, too whorange to be red. Bleh. Army Green and Lunar Rock destroy that color IMO.

It's really hard to see what it looks like from the pics...Desertbreh wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 12:55 pmIt looks like faded red. Which isDetroit wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 11:12 am

It seems to vary a lot based on light and camera processing. Most photos I've seen make it look like a faded red, like Eric said.

It's a wild color in terms of appearance under various forms of light. It's like my Super Poo Brown BMW.

Well, one thing is for sure, it's gonna be BRIGHT. So if that's your thing, I don't think it's worth splitting hairs. If I were in market for such a thing, I'd buy the whroange. Hell, if I didn't like the AG on our 4R so much, I'd probably cash in on it and buy a Whorange Bro to replace it.
But damn, AG is a 5/7 color. It's incredible how many comments we get specifically on the color of the truck. It's a shame Toyota didn't continue that color longer.

Well they did which is how you got yours. I shopped in 2020 for a AG pro but it was unobtanium so I settled for a LR which then turned into my fav color… it looks like history is repeating itself in 22, there are 6 manual pros in my area right now (way more than in 20) and they usually sell in 7 days or so… 4 are white and 2 are lime. Each one of the limes wants 6k, 12k markup. Which I am not paying.Detroit wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 3:02 pmWell, one thing is for sure, it's gonna be BRIGHT. The issue is Toyota as you know makes annual special colors for the pros and then they trickle down to the
entire lineup… Id probably even get an AG trd OR but they are impossible/just as hard to find properly equipped.

Yea, AG had an extended run...3 model years total. I was somewhat hoping it might just become a permanent color.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 3:22 pmWell they did which is how you got yours. The AG Taco long bed at my is indeed tempting.
