Better than 15%. Also inflation is done. Not vs LY but vs prior QTR. So YoY comps are irrelevant.

I have no stocks, but prices are at 5 yr lows so I'd be more inclined to buy then sell.

Still, the amount of abuse our monetary system has gone through due to covid spending is , and now Europe is cracking under the pressure that they put on themselves with the Russia embargoes and it might mean some serious Lehman type banking collapses minus the Obama/Bernanke style cash infusions (no way more .gov cash can be dumped nto the markets without currency valuations plummeting drastically. The only thing I'm happy to hold on to is my house, and even cash in the bank doesn't make sense to me anymore.

The added drama surrounding Russia (like NS1 NS2 blowing up) make for a pretty unpredictable future for anyone except the bloke that blew up those pipes. England almost had some financial meltdown today, I don't understand what happened there, but it goes to show you how fragile things got in the recent weeks.

Yeah I’d be more inclined to buy but I just do the retirement account thing, don’t really try to time the market.

Europe is rough indeed.. I’m tempted to buy another UK bike right now, the exchange rates are making them crazy cheap.

I haven't touched my 401ks. Probably a bloodbath, but I mostly ignore them since I won't touch them for another 25 years....lots will happen in that time.

I have been tempted to avg down some of my holdings with stocks as cheap as they are right now. Just waiting to see where things settle, I suspect the market still has some falling to do.

Shower water and pool heater use natural gas, but the pool was off while we were on FL from the 9th to the 19th, and the house was empty.

That is bananas. We have no gas and I've never seen an e3lectricity bill over $90 at this house. Gotta get into that poverty living, tiny house, no pool, etc. $200+ in fees...

I agree that we're likely not at the bottom, but it also seems an odd time to sell stonks... kind of missed the boat on that IMO.

We could cheap out and turn off the gas but we'll still pay $200+/month for delivery

I had the pool for three years, with the fees and cost of gas we never went over $150. This is the new normal.
