Thank goodness for the availability of Panera soups at Giant......they got me through until I could start making my own today. Their Lobster Bisque kicks ass.....
I made Cuban Black Bean and I invented a Creamy Onion and Cheese with Gouda, Aged Cheddar and Fresh Thyme.
Literally a pro tip on Paneras LB, and that soup you invented sounds 5/7

BTW I'm still not touching any tobacco products dude, I think you guys put a decent amount of mortality into my mindset. Shit I'll be 50 in a decade, I am now fully aware that habits today can take me out in the near future.
Time flies,
for your improvements in your personal habits.
And yea, 50 will be here in time.

Honestly there was so much high tech in my ICU room it was
But still not enough to DFD on...
Sounds like the stone ages, breh. At least you were comfortable with your surroundings.

My guess would be that Chris took some time off because he has read the dialogue on this page 1,345 times and decided to spend some of his free time doing something besides beating a horse to death.

Good luck Fappy! I'm sending my warmest thoughts and prayers and good vibes dear sir!
Thanks guys!
It's good to be home. Feels like smacks me in the chest with Thor's hammer every time I cough burp, sneeze, etc.
So happy that you are home, Fappy......
Now its the waiting game....i got the "give it time" speech today from my doctors....and as impatient as we may be to recover, we have to remember that we have been given the gift of time from something that could have killed us......
Sorry mang, I was in ICU until Friday and just didn't feel up to doing anything on line.
Glad to hear it went well.
Thank you.
Funny thing, I was so worried about the surgery itself but I was out and unaware until it was over. It's the recovery that's been a bitch so far. But it is what it is I guess.

Hang in there olde timer....
Wise advise is wise, as to be expected from Irish.
Hey, have you noticed anything like this with your recovery? Without exception, every day of my recovery, without exception, has alternated from feeling one day and feeling strong and thinking I see the light at the end of the tunnel, to the next day feeling totally and weak and under the weather and more things hurt than yesterday and wondering when the hell this will end? And then it swings back the other way again?

Yay so glad our res @wap is okay! So did everything go according to plan? Did you get an added perks, like a bag of perks (LOL) or a more robust ?
Glad you made it through some serious shit buddy!
Thanks dood. The surgery itself went great, and fast. It took only 2.75 hours, when I thought it would be closer to 4, based on the 5 other people I know who had open heart surgeries.
I did have a setback in the early days of my recovery, , which cost me an extra day in ICU. I developed a slight pneumothorax, technically a partially collapsed right lung.

big time...... I was in pretty good spirits the first week or so after I was released from the insane asylum because things were always getting progressively better but the past 2-3 days have been rough....the swelling is increasing as is my discomfort.
I have to remember what the doc said.....recovery from major surgery does not occur along a straight line.......there are always ups and downs.....
