It looks like im going to the Outer Banks, NC the first week of August.... If im in the states. My family is doing their first vacation in almost 10 years.

My grandparents have a house just south of there and we used to family vacation there all the time. 5/7 times there.

Weather suggests it'll be rainy and overcast while I have the car :eeyore:

To be clear, I was referring specifically to The Grand Hotel. 5/7 meals and service were had on the island, just not there.

Think of it this way, the Grand was, in reality, what your perception of cruising is.

A number of places in Washington state like that. Hey, if you're going to cram down a dress code on people, you need to deliver the goods.

i once stayed in Corolla in a huge 5 bedroom beach house on labor day weekend. Not to mention, there was a jeep wrangler rental just down the street that you can do sand 4x4, but didn’t had a chance. Oh well
