My long ass trip to my native home - June-Aug 2019
As some (or few) may know I've been traveling a little (or should I say, a lot more) some due to my job, and my flexibility in regards of working outside of my work place in most recent couple years, in particular internationally. Right now, due to the winter cyclone, i'm stuck in London, and I'm probably happy about it, with the little exception of
but then again, most of Muricans are in debt anyway, so I'm good.
As some of you know, I do visit Turkey pretty frequently due to where I'm from and where rest of my family lives, so I don't exactly have typical touristic type of pics. So some of those will be included in a timely order.
Here are some recent trips in the following posts.

Berlin, Germany - March 2016
I was there cause I was working at a travel trade show, so I didn’t get a lot of chance on pics
Istanbul, Turkey (surrounding areas) - August 2016
- Bostanci, Istanbul (asian side)
- Prince Islands (south of Istanbul, in the sea of Marmara)
- GoBro pic by yours truly
- Silivri, Turkey (about 1.5 hours from Istanbul, towards Greece)
December 2016 - Elkton, VA - Skyline Drive (I posted a tread about this) here’s a couple
- Log cabin we rented
August 2017
- I did went to Turkey again, but it was short lasted and didn’t took much pics that are worthy to post here
November 2017 - Montreal, Quebec, Canada
- again by yours truly
- An old movie was being filmed
December 17th-ish, 2017 - New York
- Was there for only a couple of nights due to work, so I didn’t take much pics. Also fucked around with my iPotato 8 plus portrait pic natural lightning thing
- Rockfeller Center Xmas Tree
- Breakfast at Little Italy
- Westside Mall (WTC area)
January, 2018 - London, UK
- As I was trying to head back to the States, the flights have been cancelled. We were gonna catch a flight from London to DC, but due to the cyclone and below freezing temps, flights have been cancelled, and the ones after that are super full. So I had to settle for a next available flight with available seats (obviously) to get back home.
- Lamb & Flag, one of the best fish and chips in the area. It’s off Rose st, at Westminster district.
- Little daytrip to see Stonehedge

Resort offered ATV rides, so I went for 2 hours, and on steep gravel hills with shitty alignment, t'was fun. I once flipped when I was pretty much hooning it, back end kicked out, hit a ditch and flipped. Only tiny little scratches on hands, no bleeding.

Efharisto!!
It was only Germany and New York that I went for work, Germany was one of the largest Travel/Tourism trade show that is held annually in Berlin. I believe I stated recently, I was gonna go to London in last October for a trade show, but there was barely any attendees that registered it, which somewhat (I don't know what it is) hint: cheeto, so that didn't happen. London was really unexpected, and thanks to the cyclone.
I may potentially go to Montreal again, Vermont and probably San Francisco in the coming months. I have couple of friends from Turkey studying in SF, one for masters and wrapping up his undergraduate. Also work is getting better, hopefully if it continues, I may go visit Turkey during summer for over a month and take roadtrips to various places that some I've never been before.

I really don't want to imagine staying within 100 miles from home throughout the whole year. But if I have no choice or luxury to do so, I just have to live with it.

I work as an assistant tour operator/travel agent. Along with that, I also do turkish translation and wait hold signs for super
clients from Turkey to hold the signs along with the travel agent and directing to their chauffer.
For Germany, I had to work for one of the largest annual trade shows in the Travel/Tourism industry. Representing Murica.
For my recent trip to New York, I was sent there as a translator and also me having a decent knowledge about NY as well, cause the person that came to visit was not good at english. One of the top dawg gov. people in Turkey, cause his son is trying to get into NYU.

Not really, but for work trips, my boss pays for the hotels and flights. I have an IATA Card, so I also get discounts for hotels. He also pays for my EZ pass only when I’m required to go to a hotel for work w/e the case maybe that requires some driving in the city, that includes my recent road trip to NY.
