Tis the season!
I first made this pole at the Dead Zone, then on DFD 1.0. Gave it a rest last year so I figured it's time to resurrect it.

So how do you tree it up??

I voted combo.

We did our usual live tree in the living room and artificial trees in the dinette and dining room, plus several tiny (~1ft tall) fake trees strewn about the house.

Live tree, always.

We actually scored a sweet :scrooge: :dill: because someone left a tree by the dumpster. Defrosted it on the balcony, then wifey trimmed it up and it's a nice tree, way bigger than what we would buy on our own.

You're having 18 holiday parties, it only makes sense to have your house look like Macy's.

"Nothing. Living that :waxer: lyfe"

We have not tree'd in the last 17 years because:

1. It's just the two of us and we don't buy presents.
2. Animals will mess with it and create issues.
3. A lot of setup, cleanup and tear down for nothing.

Points for recycling the dumpster tree.

Michelle likes real trees so we did that. Found a nice looking 6' one on a small lot out here. I'll snag a pic of how she has it decorated. Should have taken one before she put all the ornaments on it. It was a good one.

So I take it a manger scene is also out of the question?

Live tree or bust.

One of my all time favorite traditions with Zilch, each tree trunk ends up as an ornament.

This is actually our 7th Christmas together but the first year we had just started dating, we weren’t ready to make relationship commitments like a Christmas tree.

2017 was drying out before we drilled a hole in it. 2013 was our GSP’s first Christmas.

Normally we fake tree, but the critters knock it down every year, so we're doing a real tree, I've also never had a real tree, so this is a new thing for me.
So far, so good.

If it wasn't for my daughter, I would Waxer hard and turn my house into a holiday free zone. Having no guests, don't need setup and teardown, don't need to gain weight eating holiday food, it will be January before you can blink. Also protip: The Little Baby Jesus was not sent to redeem your souls. Nor is there a man in a red suit with orbiting the earth in a sleigh powered by reindeer that is faster than an SR-71 Blackbird.

I have an obligation to others not to minimize by dubshow however, and will vote live tree. We have a fake tree but fake trees suck.

Lol, I like Christmas stuff, so I'm willing to deal with it.
After my parents split we never did a tree or anything, sure there were presents, but it was so meh.

The big holiday was over at my Grandparent's, they had the tree, stockings, lights, etc.
Good memories I like to keep alive.

Real tree where we're going, but nothing at our house because nobody will be there anyway.

An exageration, but it doesn't feel like it. We're hosting the neighborhood party this Saturday.
