Oh dang, you're right. I missed that badge. I remember those, too. Speaking of badge engineering...max225 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2018 5:27 pmIt is the badge engineered skye... Aka the Pontiac solstice... only about 1000 of them were made.wap wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2018 5:25 pm
Well, the Opel Astra lives on in ROW and it's a damn nice little car. The Aura lives on as the Regal and Insignia in Europe. I think the whatever the Vue is called is still being made over there.
Of course I the Skye. It was a beaut. Love that hard top from your pic. Someone here has one. Maybe Rockchops?

The Opel Insignia is the new Buick Regal. It's a ridiculously nice car...and also a hatchback.wap wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2018 5:25 pmWell, the Opel Astra lives on in ROW and it's a damn nice little car. I don't understand what GM is trying to do with Buick. Where they're positioning it, who their target audience is, etc.Detroit wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2018 7:27 pmThe Opel Insignia is the new Buick Regal. It's a ridiculously nice car...and also a hatchback.wap wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2018 5:25 pm

That.
In the states, they're trying for pseudo luxury kind of like Volvo. But the problem is, "real" luxury badges are so cheap anymore, it's a tough contest.

Dat target deer, doe. This is AF for $2700. Less than the mountain bike I'll never buy. Ninja 300 with a muffler and under 5k miles.

Still small and nimble but yeah I think the dual sport is actually better suited for the city. I have no experience with this doe so I am just talking out my ass. Maybe 4Zilch can chime in?troyguitar wrote: ↑Fri Jan 19, 2018 1:54 pmThose are great. Pointless in the cityJohnny_P wrote:https://southjersey.craigslist.org/mcy/ ... 68306.html

It would also be like a clown bike for me. I'm 6'2" and this is built for AZN women to flat foot.

And you can resell in a year for $2700 if you wanted to.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Fri Jan 19, 2018 1:49 pm https://southjersey.craigslist.org/mcy/ ... 68306.html

Buy a dual-sport so you can pretend like you're buying a MTB.

Cheap, light, enough power to out accelerate at the stop lights and cruise at 80 on the highway. Motorcycle in the city is 5/7 for navigating traffic.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Fri Jan 19, 2018 2:15 pmStill small and nimble but yeah I think the dual sport is actually better suited for the city. Dirt bike and/or super moto are better suited in the city but are generally a bit more of a handful at highways speeds - they’re wound out a bit more at 80 and are lighter so you get blown around a lot.
If you have the means, and can find one, a WR250X is a solid choice.

Give it a try - if you don’t like it you’re unlikely to lose money when you resell.

Price is certainly attractive. Nowhere to really store this. Will discuss with lady unit tonight. People on my block have bikes, they usually just NFG don't lock them up and keep them covered when not in use. One dude does lock his bike up, he made a concrete ballast bucket and chains it to that.
Worst comes to it I'd need to rent a self storage space at the uhaul place down the street. IIRC it's like $80-100 a month for a unit large enough for a motorcycle.
