Someone tried to sell me an 84 month motorcycle loan. Gotta keep those payments low.
When I was looking at the Vipers they were really trying to sell them and the salesbro was telling me I could get a 120 month payment to make it as cheap monthly as a Challenger.
How'd you pass on that?!?!?

It's as cheap as a Challenger, you couldn't afford to walk away from that :dill: :dillerman:

That should be illegal. And if someone takes that deal they should be culled from the herd. The do not deserve to use the air or breed.

Working is a good thing :iono:

I went in for a meeting this morning, then realized that all the people I work with are in a different office today, so I went home.

I enjoy working and I prefer being constantly on the go. The issue is that I haven't been regularly gainfully employed since 28 Jan 2015.

I despise collecting a paycheck when I dont feel I have adequately earned it. But I of course wont deny the money.

Car has bad battery. Covered under extended warranty. Did my 60k service while I was there. $200 for everything, including a balance (which is separate).

I've been working at home for the last week and I'm ready to go back into the office. So much to do and some of it really needs to be done in person. Hopefully the contractors wrap up today.

Yea, I can really only do it once a week. There's a lot that's better accomplished in person, but I love working from home on Mondays to soften the blow of the work week.

I was anxious about coming in to work this morning after three days off last week. I expected 100+ emails to sort through. Only 22. :notbad: at all. Two of them were my boss thanking me for stuff I'd done last week, six were quotes I'd requested, a handful were junk emails from random suppliers, two emails notifying me that orders I'd placed had shipped, then just a few that I was randomly copied on and didn't need to be. I feel so much better about today now. I actually want to be productive here today when this morning when I woke up I was seriously considering calling out and having a day at home to recover from the trip.

Kinda dat. I have a great service advisor who has been with us for the past 5 cars (MK6 Golf, Touareg, Passat TDI, Passat R-Line and GTI) and he tells me when and what will get charged to the warranty.

So far, they've done much of the wear & tear and non-powertrain stuff under that warranty. I have it until 60k, and I'm at 57,3k right now so I'm getting a lot of the things done preventatively.

But, all in all, it's just building relationships and being on top of them. I also only use him as a service advisor and give him all 10's. He's always brutally honest with me on any service.

I feel like :crang: just drops off the car and then goes and pulls his hair out until they come and :dock: him in the :knot: with $2,500 repair bills

I hear you. I usually do Thurs. and Friday to miss the commute of all the boaters in the summer and skiers in the winter that are trying to get out of the valley and up to the delta, lakes or up to Tahoe.
