My guess would be that Chris took some time off because he has read the dialogue on this page 1,345 times and decided to spend some of his free time doing something besides beating a horse to death.
Giulia sales wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy down......or were never there..........
I REALLY want Alfa to success in the US this time.
Sounds like they're pretty shitty from a reliability standpoint...doesn't look good...

If it makes you guys feel any better, they don't do that well in Europe either. Especially when I visited Germany a year ago and Turkey (people can afford nice cars there believe it or not). As for regular cars (meaning: non sporty and reasonable priced for an average joe), there's only 2 alfa's in the line-up at this point, excluding Giulia.

How is 25k miles not long enough for a set of tarz anyway? Maybe if you're driving a bus or something, but for an "enthusiast" you should be happy to get 20k.
Agreed.
I measure tires in seasons not miles.
If I get two summers out of a set of summers, that's pretty good.

What's even more interesting is that marketing had been pushing the well-to-wheel advantage of natural gas powered buses, but apparently we were still losing ground to the battery powered offerings.

Hybrid makes sense kind of. Full EV?
EV makes sense in certain applications if you can get to the required range. In a municipal application, equipment returns back home each night and can be charged then.
A lot of compressed natural gas customers already do the same thing. They install their own slow fill pumps in using municipal natural gas lines. Hook up trucks to the pumps at the end of shift, and they're full the next morning.

Funny. Your points were valid. All he had to do was say that yeah it's a development piece but I hope we get XXXXX out of it. Because that's what it is.
I remember the Focus forums, people would go HAM and get the equal length "shorty" headers. They'd lose HP, destroy their catalytic converters, and the headers would crack after about 2 years due to the stresses that were never accounted for because these parts are hardly ever actually designed for durability.
Fuck that. Especially on a part that requires bumper removal to install.

IIRC hood paint would start to fade if you got the shorty headers too, because they did away with OEM heat shielding despite putting the runners physically closer to the hood because GOTTA SEE DEM HEADERS DOE. ON YOUR FOCUS.

I remember they used to sell those magazines back then. My uncle had a first gen focus hatch (lot of suspension mods) to replace his totaled Peugeot 106 GTI, I believe it was a base model (black door handles and shiz, but atleast it has a crankable sunroof), at the time we recently moved to the US, every time he visited us, or when we visit Turkey, he always wanted a focus fanatic mag.
