Not with me. He's still yet to define free market so that he can be proven wrong.

The :[user not found]: tactic is to ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK anyone else's thoughts without ever providing his own. He refuses to offer opinions on much of anything and almost never attempts to define or defend anything. He'll gladly poke holes in anything you try to say, but won't offer up his own arguments for defense.

Of course I assume that I'm right until proven wrong, why would I believe something if I already know that it's wrong? You hold onto beliefs that you know to be wrong?

I'm just saying that your style in that reply is pretty arrogant and aggressive. I like to go into things thinking I'm right, but understanding that there is a good chance I may not be. I read your response as part of the :mahtroy: ATTACK protocol.

I probably wouldn't answer you either.... it would just end up in another 4 pages of round and round :butwhy: posts.

Do you feel that your belief that I was lying about what I paid for my last Euro trip was proven wrong?

Yep, and I'm wrong about a lot of shit... but you actually took the time to explain yourself. :[user not found]: simply says I'm wrong and then :nope: out of discussion. He's right because he says he's right and refuses to form an actual argument because then there might be a chance that he could be proven to be wrong.

I want to learn things. Being proven wrong means learning things.

:[user not found]: is rich, therefore he might really know that much more about economics than me... so I want him to define free market for me since he claims that I don't know what it means. If I'm that far out in left field that I don't even understand the most basic of econ 101 things, then I want to know about it.

By the way, if you're ever interested, I've been finding some :mindblown: :dill: 's on Prague for this fall. It's a fantastic, gorgeous city that is definitely worth seeing.

I used to be able to name every nut that there was. And it used to drive my mother crazy, because she used to say, "Harlan Pepper, if you don't stop naming nuts," and the joke was that we lived in Pine Nut, and I think that's what put it in my mind at that point. So she would hear me in the other room, and she'd just start yelling. I'd say, "Peanut. Hazelnut. Cashew nut. Macadamia nut." That was the one that would send her into going crazy. She'd say, "Would you stop naming nuts!"
